I like HWU, I really do. I appreciate the more mature content and ability to reach out to an older audience.

But the fact that I’m constantly being asked for diamonds is highly ridiculous.

I bought Shae on both games because we’ve been waiting for her to become available for, what, almost a year now? I thought it was a pretty sweet deal. 400 diamonds is a little bit of a stretch but why not?

But then you have Dean immediately following, and then Lance. If you want all three, then that’s over 1k in diamonds.

It wouldn’t have been bad if we had a little bit of a recovery time, say like a month in between to gain more, but it’s back to back. I didn’t get Dean and I refuse to get Lance.

Then you have people that say “a business needs money to survive” yes, of course, this is why they offer discounts, special quests, and that diamond boutique. However, having something that requires 400 diamonds for 3 consecutive weeks is gauging our pockets.

Most of us simply cannot afford it. I’m a full time student with a job that hasn’t called me in since February because of how busy my schedule is. I don’t mind dropping a few dollars for diamonds every once in a while, but only if I feel like I want to.

And there’s an underlining issue there. It also feels like PB is forcing us to drop 1200 diamonds because they know we’ve been demanding those characters for our entourage for quite some time. I know it’s a choice, yet placing them so close together is an unfair and cheap business tactic to get more money.
