simon has had his fair share of struggles; injuries, a bout of depression, a variety of health problems, and his adhd (though he wouldn't quite call that one a struggle β he embraces it fully).
the journey to find his confidence has been a long one and still isnβt quite over. these days though, heβs trying to shamelessly be himself.
overall, simon is eloquent, a bit scatterbrained, flamboyant, flirtatious, and rather eccentric. he will always be among the first to stand up for others as well as advocate for mental health. in some ways, he tends to be a little wise beyond his own years β yet immature in others.

without a penelope currently here, iβm deciding to play them as never married. was once a long-term relationship that fizzled out over time until they felt like glorified roommates, and ultimately ended. will always consider her a friend and has mostly healed from it.
currently living an artsy life in portland, where he houses a somewhat heartbroken post-divorce @ratedrcope. he enjoys the company AND having someone else to kill release all the spiders outside.
