25%? Chris brows shot up in surprise. Capos made 50% of the cut and paid the soldiers however much they wanted off of their own cut. Scarlett on the other hand was an associate soldier who only had to answer to him. She didnt have a capo so the cut she was getting was 35% of the daily bread. If he gave her 25 shell be making 10% more then his capos and he knew it would be a headache once they found out. “10% increase bring you up to 45%. Any higher and I’d have to make you capo” he offered her. However, knowing her shed want more. He just hope she’d take it

Scarlett couldn’t help but feel pleasantly surprised that Chris seemed to be taking her request seriously. Maybe because he was always so quick to dismiss her requests in the past, but that had changed apparently. Scarlett joined him shortly afterwards and scolded him. It was cute because it only made him want to tease her that much more. “I know it was inappropriate, I should of looked when I had the chance. Then it would be highly appropriate” he said pulling at her dress up a little as if he was going to help take it off. It was only when they got to the living room that they got into business. “A promotion? Into what?” He asked her resting one arm at the back of the chair and the other holding the glass of water he took from the kitchen.

Downing the rest of her water in one go, Scarlett tried to stop herself from feeling flustered. Putting down her glass on the coffee, she cleared her throat, reminding herself that this was strictly business. Nothing more. “Hmm… A promotion to whatever a step up from my current position is. “Where we? I dont recall.” chris said smirking. He found it amusing that she was shy but he found her hot nonetheless as the sun accentuate her body. “Come now Scarlett just pretend I’m not even here.” Chris said turning around to walk into her kitchen and help himself to a drink.

“Bullshit,” Scarlett muttered under her breath as Chris played dumb. Rolling her eyes, she waited until his back was turned before she crossed the living room to her bedroom. “Don’t you dare turn arou- CHRISTOPHER REYES, DON’T YOU DARE!” she shouted, suddenly breaking into a run when he catcalled her. Oh the self control it took to not curse out her own boss. Quickly grabbing a dress, she pulled it over her body, then joined Chris in the kitchen to grab a glass of water for herself. “Highly inappropriate,” she scolded, taking a long drink. The two then settled in on the couch before she got down to business. “I want a promotion,” she stated bluntly. “Or a raise. Preferably both.”

“Do you want to show your neighbors your body over showing me? It’s nothing I havent seen before Scarlett if it makes you feel better” chris said looking at her. He turned off the TV and stood up from the chair he was occupying moments before. “We have business to discuss” he said reminding her his reason for showing up uninvited.

This man was going to be the death of her. Poking her head out from behind the curtain, Scarlett glared at him. “No, it does not make me feel better!” Though she couldn’t help but curse herself for specifying that she wanted floor to ceiling windows in her apartment. Moving behind the curtains until she reached the wall, she replied, “We were supposed to discuss at your place! In an hour!” Poking her head out again, she asked him to turn around so she could go into her room and grab some clothes.

Walking into Scarlett apartment as if he owned the place chris plopped himself on the chair while he flip through the channel. Apparently she wanted to talk to him about something but instead of waiting for her go show up at his place he showed up at her place. It took him showing his glock slightly and peeping the Reyes crest tattoo for the security to let him through.

After coming home from a workout class, Scarlett had been hurrying to get ready for a meeting with Chris at the Reyes home. It had been a few months since their last conversation regarding her place in the… organization (she still didn’t feel comfortable calling it a cartel or whatever the correct term was). She felt that it was time to bring up the topic again, given that she had surpassed the margins that she had promised him six months ago. Maybe that made her a demanding employee, but since working for Chris and the Reyeses, Scarlett was reminded that she was a valuable asset. And valuable assets should be compensated for their contributions, right?

Stepping out of the shower, she slipped on her undergarments before leaving the bathroom to grab her clothes out of the dryer. Walking into the empty living room, however, she noticed that it wasn’t so empty empty after. “OH MY GOD! WHAT THE HELL??” she shouted in shock. Thinking fast on her feet, Scarlett quickly hid behind her curtains. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY LIVING ROOM?!”
