Its Giving “King Of Pentacles” Energy

A little about me: Astrology is my first love. Tarot is my second, and while I do have a space to geek out about astrology with others…. I don’t have that same luxury with tarot. So this will be my space, and I hope it becomes your space too. I hope this becomes a space of tarot readers (and lovers) sharing their tarot readings, lessons and journey as a whole. Just like I plan to do. Ughhhh sharing is such a big word - and it can be a daunting task (as a reader). So hopefully under the mask of anonymity - we can build a little tarot community.

Current obsessions: All things Buffy, Jacob Anderson, Supernatural, J2 (Jared and Jensen), and other supernatural related shows

My reading style: My reading style is a blend of intuitive and “scholar”. 

Intuitive tarot readers rely on their intuition and looking at the picture to determine what the card is telling them. “Scholars”  rely on the traditional meanings of the card. Again, I am a mixture of both.  It depends on the pull, the question, the deck. 

When I perform readings, I like to pull 9 cards (like a grid). Then, I read them like a story (horizontally). I also read each row vertically (up and down). I think by reading “vertical” - it offers another layer and angle to the context. 

I like to also bring in numerology and astrology when understanding tarot readings.

So with all this Lesmand talk, I decided to share two pulls I did last October (don't worry I still plan to answer the few reading requests that I got this week).

Vampire Deck

Question: How will the Lestat and Armand pairing be received in season 3 of IWTV/TVL? (Vampire Deck - pulled on Oct 2 2025)

Cards: 8 of pentacles, 10 of pentacles, 10 of swords, 5 of wands, 7 of wands, knight of swords, page of cups, the hanged man, King of cups (reversed)

Observations:

The number two stands out to me in this pull. We got 2 pentacles cards, 2 wands cards, 2 cups cards and 2 sword cards. So we got 2 of each suit in the tarot deck. And isn't it interesting how most of them appear right next to each other. The two pentacle cards are right next to each other, the two wands cards are right next to each other. The swords cards are next to each other vertically. In tarot, two represents duality and balance. This again goes back to what I was saying in my recording: mixed results. 50/50.

Another thing, that stands out to me, is the energy of people trying to get others, to see the storyline from their side. This is conveyed explicitly with the 7 of wands card. It represents defending your ground and advocating for yourself. But then there is also the page of cups right next to the hangman. Pages are bearers of news and messages. So quite literally the page is presenting the hangman with this cup (of this Lesmand storyline) and the hangman is just not interested.

So listening back at my recording, I don't think I worded things the best. So I want to clarify that people liking the Lesmand storyline doesn’t necessarily mean the storyline will be framed as pro-Lesmand. In the same way, people disliking the Lesmand storyline doesn’t necessarily mean the show isn’t giving them moments together. Please keep that in mind as you listen to my reading. Actually, every time I say the word: pairing in the reading...replace that word with: storyline. So when I say people like the storyline, I mean whatever Lesmand storyline is being presented. And when I say people hate the storyline, I also mean whatever version of the story is being presented (whether it reads as pro or anti.) Does that make sense? If so, remember this for the pull with the animal deck s well.

Animal Deck

Question: How will the Lestat and Armand pairing be received in season 3 of IWTV/TVL? (Animal Deck - pulled on Oct 2 2025)

Cards: 6 of pentacles, Justice, 9 of pentacles, 2 of wands, 8 of cups,

Observations:

I'm not sure I was clear in the recording. The writers want viewers to feel a certain way about this storyline, and I think the first vertical row shows that. The 6 of Pentacles suggests that what you put in is what you get out. The 2 of Wands represents planning and strategy, and The Moon points to intuition and inner knowing. Together, these cards suggest the writers were very intentional with the energy and thought they put into this storyline, and they already know the kind of reaction they're likely to get from viewers. They're expecting the outcome.

The number 2 kinda has a pattern here as well: 2 of wands, Judgement (the 20th major arcana card) and Justice (the 11th major arcana card. Justice can also be viewed as a "2" card numerologically, since 1 + 1 = 2. 

Is he happy with everything that’s happening, and with the potential new opportunities that might arise for his career if the show is a big hit?

Sorry I don't feel good about pulling on Sam's family. We have never seen them. He never talks about them. So I am gonna respect the energetic boundary he has already put up about his family. I will ask about the second thing you mentioned: his career.

Question: How is Sam Reid feeling about his career right now? (pulled on May 25)

Cards: The world (reversed), the hermit, King of Cups, 7 of swords, death, 2 of wands, judgement, knight of wands, king of pentacles

Observations:

King of cups - In the audio, I read the KOC as Sam wanting to be mature. To expand on that, I mean he doesn't want to be ruled by his emotions when it comes to his career right now.

In the past, when I saw the KOC appear in my readings, it seem to be either Rolin or Mark Johnson. In this reading, I didn't read the card as a person. But if it was a person, the reading would be more like: Sam feels the KOC is being sneaky and it's making him want to change his career plans. But I really do lean way more into the KOC in this reading conveying a trait that Sam is exhibiting currently vs an actual person (but let me know what you think).

The King of Pentacles appears again in a Sam reading (for a consecutive pull). I wonder if Sam's career ambitions and drive for success....is continuously going to bring up the KOP in his pulls. Historically for me, Jacob would show up as the KOP. So this is quite interesting if Sam's energy is also bringing up that card as well. And no, I don't think the KOP is Jacob in this reading.

Hey, thank you so much for your reply! Yes, maybe I’d like to know how Sam is feeling right now before the concert and the debut of the new season. I’d also like to know if something has happened in his life, since some anons have noticed that Sam seems calmer and more confident, especially at the AMC upfronts. What do you think could have made him stronger?

Question: How is Sam Reid feeling about performing at the concert next week (pulled on May 25)

Cards: 9 of wands, judgement, knight of pentacles, ace of wands, the fool, king of pentacles, queen of swords, 7 of wands and king of wands

Observations:

I think I said most of them in the audio already. But:

There is a lot of wands cards (9 of wands, ace of wands, 7 of wands and king of wands). Wands is the suit of movement, momentum and passion. So I feel like seeing so much of this suit --indicates that Sam is excited about this performance .

We see the Queen of Swords and the King of Pentacles appear in this reading. The QOS is a card the routinely shows up in Sam's career readings like this one. I believe she is someone his team. Jacob recurringly shows up as the KOP. But I decided to read that card as success. Especially seeing how it was positioned right after the knight of pentacles (vertically). It felt like the cards were showing a maturation of energy (from the knight to the king)

Sorry no one responded to my initial posts, so I didn't think anyone was interested in my readings. But lol maybe no one thought I would post: because I have a bad track record 😅

But sharing this reading with you, literally just because you sent this message.

Anyways, here's a pull I did a few days ago. I have a poor phone mic and was just coming out of being sick (still very congested), so audio is not the best...but was it ever? Hope you can understand me.

Question: How does Jacob Anderson feel about being executive Producer of the TVL: After Dark series?

Cards: The fool, 3 of wands, 5 of cups, 6 of swords, 5 of swords, the emperor, the sun, 3 of swords, The lovers

Observations:

Half of the cards are major arcana: The fool, the emperor, the sun and the lovers. Major arcana are the cards that represent major life events. It represents energy that is deep, strong and significant. There are only 22 major arcana cards in a standard 78 tarot deck. So getting a lot of major arcana cards in a reading should always be noted. This indicates that taking on this role and responsibility (exec producer) is/was a big deal for Jacob. Major arcana represents things that are big, fated and karmic. While minor arcana tells us more about the everyday details.  These cards show us the daily events, details and steps that lead us to that bigger picture. So if you look at this pull as a whole: it's quite literally telling us, that taking on this role was important for Jacob's life (major arcana), but it came at a cost (minor arcana).

Speaking of minor arcana, the suit that appears the most is swords. There is only three of them. But they appear more than cups and wands (which only appear once) and more than pentacles (which doesn't appear at all). Swords is the suit that can represent conflict, mental challenges and issues.

In this deck, the five of cups is depicted as someone working. This is different than its traditional depiction of a man dressed in black looming over spilt cups. I find this really interesting especially with the question that was asked....because the card is quite literally depicting someone who has to work while dealing with a deep sadness, misery, grief, etc. Which I feel really sums up Jacob's thoughts/emotions about being exec producer. Like: I'm not feeling so great. But I still gotta do what I need to do.
