long live the king

one thing i love about florida is how many conventions and things they have here. it's so easy to do signings and meet and greets without having to fly out anywhere, or spend time away from home.

it really is crazy how some games can make you go through all the emotions, but i think that's one reason why they're so fun. it's also been nice to have a break from streaming. i love it, but at the same time it's nice to play without the added stress sometimes. i'm glad you don't mind tho. i'm not the best at most games, but i don't care as long as you're enjoying it.

oh no—i completely agree! i love how easy it is to stay in touch, but there's a huge difference between talking to someone on facetime and talking to them in person. nothing lifts your mood better than having family or loved ones around. i have, and that's probably one of the biggest perks to making my own schedule. i was usually only able to go home for the holidays when working for wwe, and i like knowing that now i can go back pretty much anytime. when's the last time you were able to go visit your family?

you're good with the combat stuff in games, so i think you will enjoy it! bro, don't even mention the dreaded d-word and gta in the same sentence. if that happens i think i'll throw my pc out the window. 💀 have you tried out subnautica 2 yet? it's been on my list since it came out, but i haven't gotten around to it yet. it's multiplayer tho, so it's an option if you're up for it. not the bait! at least all my dying isn't in vain. 😩

i swear, family always has a sixth sense about that sort of thing. there's been a couple times now when i've felt pretty low, only to have my sister surprise me with a visit. it's kind of comforting tho, to think we can still have that connection with our family even when we're so far away.

they—both of the hades games—are amazing! definitely on my list of favorite games. they are rogue-like games which aren't for everyone, but i don't think your skill level really matters. you're meant to die in the game and try multiple times, but they did such a good job at making the story fit with those mechanics that it's still fun.

bro, i was the same way. i've played a couple others before, but never stuck with them for long since they would get too repetitive and boring. maybe it's because the story somehow fits perfectly with the mechanics of it being a rogue-like, but i never felt that way when playing either of the hades games. uhm, i'd say you could start with either one. there are some references to the first game in 2, but i think they do a pretty good job at explaining things when they need to. and you can always ask me if there is something you want to know. this might be my one chance to actually help you out like you're always helping me when we game. 💀

i've been so absorbed in hades 2 lately, i don't know why it took so long for me to start playing it but i am absolutely loving it! i think i might even like it better than the first game. tho i am a little nervous—everyone says it's a great game until the ending, and i'm pretty sure i'm nearing the end so we'll see soon enough what happens. 🤞🏽
