back in the flesh and feeling pretty damn good, merc! i’ve still got chills from that crowd last night, think i’m going to be replaying that reaction the rest of the week. asking me if i’m on cloud nine like i’m the only one that had a moment tonight, miss 2x owen hart tournament winner.

All these people visiting Houston for the World Cup has never made me wanna be outside more! Aha. The city been lit and I want this to be a yearly thing, bruh!

i’ve seen a few videos from celebrations in different cities and everyone looked like they were having a blast. evidently boston ran out of beer with all the tourists coming and hitting up the bars, ha. hopefully you’re able to find yourself taking part in some of the celebrations, mate. any specific team you’re rooting for?

i'm just happy knowing you haven't gone full cave man on us, i was expecting a full thor in avengers: endgame type of vibe, minus the beer belly of course. believe me, if anyone understands the whole taking time on the mental stuff it's me. you'll get there though, just be patient with yourself, alright? you know better than that, nothing is getting past me. oh, you mean was the look of complete awe and looking at him like he was the only person in the world an obvious thing? nooooo, of course not 🤭

absolutely not, thankfully the farm kept me busy enough to avoid that deep end but somehow chris hemsworth pulled that look off well, i don’t believe i’d have that same luck. i will be, actually opened up to davey about things too and think that’s helped. majorly obvious then, got it. hard not to be that way around him though honestly, the man has been almost like my other half since our dojo days — he saw me through some of my best and worst phases and was always there, my constant. so having him here in the states with me finally feels like i’m whole again. shit, got me all mushy about the man, merc.

someone had to get me out of my hermit era, it was bound to happen eventually but i’m glad it was him that got through to me. i feel healthy, physically and mostly mentally but still making progress on that front. hah yeah, knew that wasn’t going to get past you. my face that obvious around him?

somehow my insta reels have led me into a bunch of different asmr mukbang videos and i’m confused how people find this enjoyable to watch, because frankly i’m aggravated. and why do these people take such obnoxious bites of food that don’t even require that much effort. am i missing something here?

i give those people all the props then, ‘cause if someone was playing that type of content while i was on a diet that would send me into a spiral. diet would be broken quick, mate. there’s asmr that’s meant for sleep which those ones i can understand, ‘least its not someone munching right in your ear.

the calming type of asmr i can get behind, especially when you need to decompress or clear your head it does help. there’s this one creator i follow she makes these wax coated clay figures, breaks them and i dont know why but the sounds are oddly soothing. plus, she always gets creative with her designs. i know there’s an audience for that content, but is it frowned upon to simply take bites like a normal human guys? i can handle the over exaggeration with a lot of things, hell we have to do that in our own line of work sometimes but it gets to a point surely.

i don’t see the appeal, but everyone has their niche i suppose. people chewing loudly or obnoxiously is simply a pet peeve of mine in general though, but the way the videos kept popping on my reels felt like my algorithm was against me there for a bit.

you’re right and i know you are, honestly it’s just this state of limbo i’m in that’s killing me. tony wants me back at a 100% and i can appreciate that, but doesn’t make shit any easier. sure, the farm keeps me busy and all, but i hate feeling like i’m useless, essentially. and i do want to let you in and i am, but i don’t want to scare you off either with this mess that is my head right now. ‘specially when you should be enjoying things for yourself right now. well if you’re there, then so am i. as if you could stick out like a sore thumb, acting like your good looks wouldn’t have the people in the restaurant swooning — i know i will be.

if i’m honest, you’re the first person i’ve actually said any of that to .. hadn’t really been speaking to anyone about how i’ve felt over the last year. i know i could’ve, but you know better than anyone i don’t like others seeing me when i’m going through shit. so for now, can this stay between us? heh, don’t go ripping poor tony a new one or anything over me, he’s doing right by me just wish it wasn’t taking so long. i mean, you know i’ll never stop you from complimenting me, quite enjoy those coming from you. but really, the fact you’re enjoying my cooking skills is the top tier compliment, i’ve worked hard to refine those over the last year. hey, there’s no reason for you to be in your head about us or anything like that. i promise i’m never intentionally shutting you out davey and i’m sorry if that’s how i was making you feel. i get that, but don’t worry you’ll have me there to keep you plenty company. that sounds like a plan, i’ll even make sure to throw on something nice for ya.
