This squad screams Sonic the Hedgehog 4. Rouge being here is probably a foreshadowing of her being in the next movie - also, Omega is no where to be seen and knowing how he would jump at the at destroying any of Eggman's robots, him not being here indicates that in this clip they are putting attention on the key figures of all who will be in the next movie. The models to me are fine and so is the shading. I liked this style from Sonic Team since Dark Beginnings.
Metal Sonic looks so cool. With that electricity effect he has probably copied Sonicβs move set. There is an upgrade but how much data does he have?Β It seems that they're using Sonic's elements from the movie into the anime. Again slightly telling us a bit of what to expect when Sonic the Hedgehog 4 comes out.
Sonic has the element of lightning. This is fine as wind (which he is know as can draw electricity with enough kinetic energy building)

Amy is back using her Piko Piko Hammer! Not boxercise like she did in Sonic Battle just straight weapons! Metal also grabs Rouge by the foot and was going to throw her at Amy! Bro is a straight savage!
They got Knuckles throwing stuff and Shadow roping up Metal! Like BRUHHHHH! They are all going in! Except Tails! Metal is squaring up with everyone AND the ULTIMATE LIFE FORM!
The way Shadow uses Chaos Control here is excellent. He his throwing the cord around and catching it in places where he wouldn't normal get to in top speed. Using his surroundings and tools to his disposal!
Shadow than SLINGS Metal into the air and Amy meets him with her Piko Piko Hammer. (Missed opportunity Tails.)
This is then received by Rouge and she wraps the cord around her leg mid air and SLINGS Metal to the ground. Excellent teamwork!
This transition back to Knuckles is INSANE!!!! There must be a scene in the movie where all of the characters take turns beating Metal like this in unison!
