Bisexuals are neither straight nor gay! They are Bi which is a valid sexuality. Everyone who tells you otherwise can go fuck off!
I really love it when a friend comes out to me as bi. I mean as anything. But as a fellow bisexual I love the immediate trust and story sharing that happens. All those stories of like “oh my childhood makes sense now.”

The Problems With Being A Bi Guy.
Being bisexual can come with some baggage at times, and it’s not all that fun at times, but being a bisexual and male has it’s own set of problems..
Straight women will think you’re actually gay and just confused.
Gay men with think you’re actually gay and in denial.
Straight men will think you’re actually gay and in denial.
Gay women will think you’re actually gay and just confused.
Either way, they’re going to think you’re gay and not telling the truth or are confused.
Some people have deemed men who like men to be “less than” masculine in some cases, this obviously goes with being a gay man too, but with bisexuality being less understood or acknowledged it’s often used against us much more often, and with less support it just carries on.
Bisexual men are less likely to come out and more likely to remain closeted for longer periods of time, from lack of understanding, acceptance and a fear of rejection. (this also happens to any bisexual person in general, but is slightly higher in males.)
Bisexual men are less likely to talk about their feelings (men talking about feelings is sometimes seen as a big taboo anyway) especially when it comes to same-sex attractions. We often feel more isolated.
There are more myths and misconceptions around bisexuality, which makes some of us less able to hold relationships because of trust issues or being unable to be open and honest with partners.
With love, Bi-Positive.
Dear Bi Men
This is your daily remember that you are awesome, no matter what anybody says. Your struggles are real, your feelings are valid, and you deserve happiness, no matter what the gender of your partner is.
You are kings, you are superheroes, you are an important part of the Queer community, no matter what anyone else says.

I don’t know how to love without using my whole heart. I don’t know what its like to love someone ‘half way’. I practice giving love in the same way I’d like to receive it.
Reyna Biddy (via wordsnquotes)
I once tried to explain to someone what it’s like being bisexual … The best I could come up with was to say that I don’t understand what it’s like to NOT be attracted to someone Because of his or her sex.
Philip Jacquet-Morrison in “Bi God, Somebody Listen” from The Wild Reed: Thoughts and reflections from a progressive, gay, Catholic perspective. (via midwestbiactivist)
Accepting that bisexuality is a valid sexual orientation is the same as accepting people for who they say they are, even if it goes beyond what you can understand. To deny the legitimacy of bisexuality because it is outside of our own comprehension is no better than the attitude of the many people who have dismissed homosexuality as being nothing more than a phase, a mental illness, or something that can be fixed. As gay men and women, we do not allow anyone to deny the legitimacy or authenticity of who we are. We are a culture forged in the steadfast belief that we, as people, were born this way. In spite of the many well-organized efforts to dismiss the validity of our sexuality, we stuck to what we knew was true in our gut. So to casually dismiss bisexuals as either confused straight people or homos in hiding goes directly against the logic that we demand heterosexual naysayers to adopt.
