Abraham spent so much time in the library that he knew all the regular people that came in and out of the place, he even made up stories in his head about what their lives might be like outside. Of course he never dared to approach any of them, his shyness very much confining him to his seat in the corner, surrounded by a few of his books that he was reading. However, today he glanced up and saw an unfamiliar face which caused him to pause his reading and stare for a few moments. His brain already whirring into work trying to give the man a backstory, so lost, he momentarily forgot he was staring and felt a blush hit his cheeks as the man seemed to notice him.

Being kicked out of places wasn’t something weird for him, at least in his hometown, but here? He was even offended when the old lady of the library he had been visiting since he arrived, kicked him out for the amount of books related to magic and voodoo he borrowed every week. Of course, old religious lady got nervous and kicked him out as he babbled something with the words “heathen” and “demon” in there. Ah, it felt just like home. But anyways, he had to find another place to get a good read and some well-deserved peace and silence.
And that’s how he got here.
He went to the section specialized in occultism and the paranormal, decided to look for something related to legends that could give him some more obscure information than whatever he could find online. Finally, grabbing a dusty book, mostly in good shape due nobody actually opening it years ago, he walked to the nearest empty table. Soon, he felt someone ( or something ) looking at him and so, he looked up to meet with icy stare the eyes of the curious male.
“Can I help you?”, he asked with a dull tone.
