The closet he came was remembering an adult saying the term chaos gremlin. And thinking it fit Harry to a T.

When Harry was menacing him in descendants two he felt that Harry was a threat, at least he knew if uma said the word Harry would kill him no doubts about that. But it also felt sort of impersonal. Like he’d menace any prisoner like that. Abd the not being able to tell time thing, Ben wasn’t sure what to make of that.

Oh he LIKED her well enough. He cared about her. They grew up together after all but he never felt that stuff that his parents or other fairy tale couples like his parents or Audrey’s parents talk about.

He was mostly dating her because of expectations. He figured she was a friend before a girlfriend and he would need a queen at some point. She was from a good family and was a good person (at least he thought she was before descendants 1)

Mal was different. She was so unlike any girl he ever met. (Evie was too but in a way that made him Wa t to protect her. )

He’s not thrilled about the spell thing, especially how mal judges uma for pulling the same thing.

He was raised in privilege abd respected as the future heir to the throne of all of Auradon.

But uma EARNED the respect of her people.

She’s a queen in her kingdom and a queen who is one with all her people.
