Urgent Appeal: Please Help Save This Child’s Life
First, thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraiser. Your kindness has helped us survive during very difficult times.
Today, we are asking for your help to save a baby in our community who has been diagnosed with brain cancer. He received treatment in South Sudan, but the doctors said they could not continue his care. He was referred to the Uganda Cancer Institute in Kampala for life-saving surgery.
As shown in the photo, the baby has already undergone medical treatment and is now waiting for the next stage of care. Before he can leave the hospital, the family must pay $450 in outstanding medical bills. They also need about $250 for transportation from Juba to Kampala and $2,300 for the surgery.
The baby’s father has been asking for help throughout the community but has only managed to raise $320, which is far from enough.
