This recording is extremely special, the entire team approach it with the level of respect usually given to classic Opera. Released in 1992, the recording was heavily promoted with an international campaign, including public appearances by Julie Andrews and Ben Kingsley in the U.S., Japan and Europe.

This rehearsal take from a Television Special documenting the recording sessions which took place in Culver City California in 1992.
