Would you still be my friend if I were a sphere?”

Without having a single clue why (he was never very good at identifying emotions) Duckie was slightly nervous as he sent a casual I’m outside text to Jin. It was the weekend, and they were friends, and drinking together is what people did on weekends with friends, but this was… it was fine, he didn’t know what he was even thinking.

Quickly, he sent anoher text: Wait are we going out or staying at your place? I know a great place, but if you’d rather stay in…

Jin looked up from the sizzling vegetables when he heard his phone beep.He lowered the heat a bit and walked over to his phone, smiling when he saw the text from Duckie. He started his way towards the door, laughing when he saw the older’s next text. He opted to answer his question when he opened the door.

“dak… ang… jong?” she repeated, butchering the pronunciation. “oh my god, i suck. i promise i’m trying to get better on the whole learning korean thing. i’d love some,” she grinned. “you know i always love your cooking, jin!”

“dakgangjeong,” jin repeated, “it’s okay jadey, you’ll get it, i have faith in you.” he smiled at her sincerely, and held out a pair of chopsticks for her, “dig in,” he grinned, blushing slightly at the compliment.

“seriously?! that sounds so yummy, of course”
