A very late grandfest post

Grand Festival has finally come to a close and wow, i've spent this entire monday reminiscing about everything.

This fest truly felt like a love letter to all parts of the series. Wether it be Cuttlefish and Octavio being together after all this time, Acht watching over Pearl and Marina's performances, references to commander tartar and Mr. Grizz... there's so many callbacks to every single part of the franchise... it's truly incredible.

This fest made me feel the wonder i had felt two years ago when i first picked up this game. The setting, the colors, the music... everything... It was a feeling of anticipation i had deeply missed and i could not have been happier with how everything turned out!

Absolutely LOVE that idol plushies are canon in the splatoon world, wish we got them for our lockers...

But enough of the scenery... can we talk about the idol performances? What a genius move it was to make the remixes based on the live versions, it truly felt like i was in a Splatoon concert, which.. is definitively appreciated since i probably won't ever be able to attend a Nintendo Live lol

Being able to be part of the crowd was such a magical experience, it truly made you feel like you were there for real... I got so emotional...

Thank you to everyone that i played with! Even though team future got absolutely DESTROYED, i stil had an unforgettable time. Thank you all, really.
