Many kids reproduce and retain some dangerous content when they are on tablets, surfing on YouTube or the internet looking for games. One day, my little cousin (7years old) told his mother after she got home from a long day and stated that she was tired, that she should just drink some alcohol. Surprised, she asked her son why he said that, and he replied that he saw some video of drank people online and concluded that drinking alcohol was a good remedy to get sleepy when tired.

Solution 3:

Our value proposition is an all-for kids tablet with incorporated features to limit the accessible content for kids to entertainment and learning (also through entertainment). This tablet will contain cartoons, movies and games that would not require parents to always monitor what their kids watch. It has a lot of fun features and is designed for the well-being of the kids that will use it. They would not have access to YouTube, Google or other platforms that may include ads or broad and not controllable information.

Solution 4:

The pain that our product solves has two aspects. First, kids safety: there is the dangerous content that may mislead or frighten the kids facing it. Secondly, the distress that kids’ parents face when they want their kids to be entertained by online content but cannot monitor where they go and what they watch constantly. Sometimes, the kids just inadvertently click on the wrong ad and end up on the wrong websites.

- The time spent by the kids can be settled by the parents, therefore, if they set a maximum of 3 hours long of use and a pause of 2 hours in between, the tablet will display a sleep image and song for the kids.

- The movies and games are available in more than 10 international languages, kids will also be able to learn foreign languages.

- There are music games in which kids can learn music notes depending on the instruments they like. There are also books with different themes according to what kids interests.

- There are art games in which kids can develop their creativity and express themselves.

- There are instructive movies teaching how to count, read and also solve problems.

- When searching for an exact phrase, it is advantageous to enclose it in quotation marks, use connectors in between each word and remove unhelpful words.

- On the other hand, it is not necessary to use quotation marks when searching for an exact word. “The” plus the exact work is enough.

How would you search for something on a specific site?

First look for the site, secondly enter the site and finally refine the search in the search bar of the specific site.

How would you correctly search for a definition?

- Type in the search bar the specific and exact keywords followed by the word “definition”.

- Or “type define:” and add the keywords in the search bar

How would you search for a specific product available within a specific price range?

- Type the specific product followed by the specific price range looked for, with the currency sign in order to emphasize the search of a specific price.

- It is also possible to use a hyphen to link the two prices and therefore illustrate the price range (always with the currency sign).

How would you search for a specific filetype?

In order to find a specific filetype, use the “type command” and then the file extension (docx., pdf….) or the origin of the file (photos, video…).

How would you include or ignore words in your search?

- In order to ignore words in my search, use the hyphen (or minus) tool “- “before the word to be excluded (with a space before and after the hyphen).

- On the other hand, in order to include words, use the plus “+ “tool before the word to include (with a space before and after the plus).

How would you find sites/pages similar to an existing one?

Use the word “related” followed by a colon “: “and then enter the existing website.

How would you confirm the exact form of a quote even if you were missing some of the words?

Write the missing words and add * in order to highpoint it.

How would you search for pages containing two connected words?

Combine the connected words with quotation marks or brackets, or keywords such as: and, not, or.

How would you search for social media content containing a specific tag?

- Use the @ of the specific name of the content and then search for hyperlink leading to the content of the actual specific tag.
