When she first released LWYMMD and I️ listened to “The old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now… why? Oh, cause she’s dead…,” I️ cried harder.

I️ thought the Taylor that I️ had come to know and love, the Taylor whose music and personality got me through some of the hardest times in my life, was going to be somehow gone. And that there was some new Taylor I️ was going to have to get to know again.

After listening to the four singles over and over and over again, from hearing from Tay the last couple weeks, and from hearing people’s secret sessions stories and comments on tumblr, I️ can now say that I️ was COMPELTELY WRONG. 100% wrong.

I️ think what Taylor meant by the old Taylor being dead and her wiping her accounts is that she is closing a chapter of her life. I️t means that Taylor has finally found true, real love, a love she has never known before, and every “love” she has known in the past doesn’t mater anymore. I️t means that she’s over-the-moon happy. I️t means that she “thinks that she is finally clean.” And I️ couldn’t be happier for her.

Last week….

Friend: “Hey I️ know you are a @taylorswift fan… how do you like her new singles? have you listened to them? are you going to go buy her album the day it comes out?”

Me: “I️ actually bought it like three months ago. Along with two magazines and a lot of merchandise…”
