after all the gifs were cropped and everything, i added 1 text layer for their “real name” and another layer for their “stage name”. then rasterized only the stage name layer and duplicated this layer by the total amount of frames the gif has.

each frame will only have it’s own “stage name” layer visible.so frame 1 will only have the first “stage name” layer visible,then frame 2 will have only have the second “stage name” layer and so on.

(i had 30 frames, so i duplicated the “hoshi” layer 30 times for each frame)

in each frame their body’s move differently so each “stage name” layer has to be erased differently, one by one.

(i went to frame 1 and erased the parts of “hoshi 1″ that covered his body, then went to frame 2 and erased the parts of “hoshi 2″ that covered his body aND REPEAT)
