Anyways this clown really matched with a queer-ass anti-military hoe and expected the conversation to go well lmao
It's funny you say that, You never know the sacrifice military personnel give up to give your literal ungrateful ads gets. The nice thing about the U.S is you have the freedom to almost say or do whatever the hell you want. Have the freedom of speech, the freedom to love/fuck who you want, basically do what you want without being murdered. I mean drug out into the street and torn apart because in some magical places on this earth people find you disgusting and wrong for you being you.
You think being in the military is 'They want to kill Brown people' or 'Fight for freedom' narrative. Ever think about the kids running away from abusive homes? Or the Parents who leave their family because they need a better way to provide. Some of us need the education or healthcare because you aren't privileged enough to do that because you didn't get to have two loving parents, or they just too poor to do so.
Check your mother fucking self before you rip into someone for making a harder decision. Fucking disgusting. Just because your safe here on U.S American soil to be who you are don't forget the others who will be K.I.L.L.E.D tryna be themselves too.
Y'all tend to forget how many men who go into the military do intense PTSD shit who come out stronger than ever who are trans.
Check your privilege.
Hi, Iâm a trans man with PTSD! Iâm not sure what the point of this post is, but you (a conservative woman with âdifferent ideasâ) might need to check your own privilege before ragging on other people on a social media app known for only seeing in black and white!
Transgender people were not allowed to serve in the military until 2016. In 2019, the president attempted to ban trans people in the military again. This was met with much backlash. He did not succeed in banning them; however, a new rule passed in 2019 states that âThey can enlist and serve, but only if they stick to their biological sex. No transitioning allowed.â
I donât speak for trans men and women in the military. I can only speak for myself. As a trans man who suffers from mild to moderate dysphoria daily, a situation where I was not only put into danger physically but also forced to remain a gender I do not identify with would be a living goddamn hell. The only reason to put people through that is the bigotry that surrounds the government and military today.
Itâs funny that you say all this in the wake of the most recent US action against Iran. You know, the action in which Trump ordered a drone strike against a prominent Iranian general. Notice that in that article, a senior analyst on Iran for the Defense Intelligence Agency states, âKilling him would be neither necessary nor sufficient to disrupt the operational progression of an imminent plot.â The backlash of this has been swift: fearmongering is evident in the sudden increase of World War Three propaganda spreading through the ranks of many social medias, even though that is unlikely to be the case.
I can respect the people who go into military service because the have no other choice, or because they have a misguided idea that theyâll be saving the world, or any of the other reasons that you stated in your reply to my post. In fact, I do respect them!! I respect the individual people in the military very much, and have no quarrel with them at all. What I donât respect is the organisation as a whole. (Additionally, people who are escaping abusive homes, or parents who are trying to provide for their families should have more than merely âjoin the militaryâ as an answer. We âread: the government, or the peopleâ should be helping those that are less fortunate, so that they donât have to resort to the option of joining the military simply because they feel they have no other choice.)
Lastly, @killmecuzihavedifferentideas, I leave you with a meme in this, our most trying time.
Honey, Triggered much? What a fucking POG? Nah, xP
You got PTSD? Oh no like way to ignore all the veterans who were having to fight to get the help they need.
Also why does it matter whether your trans or not. Like did I ask? Is it a Pokemon card move? You're a human being. Whatdya think I'm gonna do? Nothing have some fucking respect. Why is it that because I'm military you assume I hate trans people.
