Half Past Five

“Well, then I think we absolutely need to spend more time together.  I’m Clover!”

“Oh really now?” He cocked, an eager grin pulling at the corner of his lip. “Killian.” He offered, looking over the girl.

“You’re charming, but interacting with other humans is the opposite of what I want to do tonight.”

“We don’t have to talk.”

“Aha - are you even legal, kiddo?”

“Scout’s honor, ma’am.” He grinned, certain she wasn’t going to be an easy catch, to say the least. “But are you?”

The last thing Lark had expected was for anyone to compliment her after tonight - she had worked herself harder than usual and was covered in sweat, but her outfit was admittedly cute.  She gave him a flirty grin.  “Oh really now?  You’re not just saying that because I just took off almost all of my clothes for your enjoyment?”

Killian shrugged casually, pursing his lips as though her question seemed completely out of place, though a mischievous smile soon took it’s place. “Absolutely not.” He decided.

“Sorry Sunshine as good as you look my girlfriend wouldn’t appreciate me running off with a younger man.”

“Ah, now that’s no fun at all.” Killian smirked. “And, I hardly doubt I’m much younger than you.”
