I am wading alone in a sea of couples. Everything I see, everyone I meet, they are swimming while holding hands. It's as if they're flaunting their new found love in my face-making me feel lonelier, slapping me with the truth that I will die alone. Still, I swim. I swim because I have to, I swim because there's nothing else to do but cross these waters. I wish there was a boat, a boat that will pick me up. A boat that will make me feel safe. A boat that will make me feel grand. I wish that boat was you. I thought it was you. I chose the boat where you're aboard. But you're so far away and I'm drowning-drowning in this sea of couples and loneliness.
