Its been 4 years since he joined my grandmother among the clouds. It's been 4 years, and I still miss the people who taught me about strength, about dignity, about compassion, and that wisdom is gained through experience. That man was the strongest man I ever knew. Silence in his presence was like music to me because it was in that quiet that he taught me the value of thought. We could sit for hours on a beach waiting for the fish to come and the patience he exuded was copious. He taught me that great things are worth waiting for. I was fortunate enough in this life to call that man "Grandpa". I miss him every day, with every breath. He and my grandmother helped to give me the courage to love unconditionally, without fear.
