BB-8 cake for my sons 7th birthday :) the head is all chocolate hand done by me :) (his body is chocolate cake) the things you will do for your favorite little guy!

My sisters bouquet I made :) I made all the flowers and so on by hand. It's actually champaign and ivory, but my lighting sucks.

So this is my progress on “operation: take back my sewing room.” If you saw the before pictures they were worse. My sewing table will be 36"x72" because that's the largest nice industrial cutting mat I can find with a grid I like. Now it’s really down to finishing putting away fabric and trims. 600+ of my 800+ patterns are all in a home (a lot are digital), anything over 1.5 yrds is on a bolt, and I will be moving into the massive pile of “under 1.5 yrds” which is burying the couch that will be removed once I can find it. The blue bins are full of stretch fabric, and those will go in the side of the cutting table on one side, and bins of large scraps will be on the other side, because they are useful! All of my plain cotton is folded and stacked in the cupboard, all my flannel and fleece is in the large drawer. The large cabinet houses 54" and under fabric/tutu net/organza rolls, while the wire shelf is all 56"+. The large rolls will have a storage bin that I didn’t map on my plans… Ugh! This is going to be a lot of work! This my friends is precisely why you put your stuff AWAY after a project!!!

Taught my 6 yr old how to sew :) this is super bunny! He did about 90% of this all by himself! So proud of him!
