▶▶He’s still meandering around the expansive park, attempting to find a map or someone to guide him to the hotels.. You’d think with such a large place there would be somewhere with an info kiosk or a map planted somewhere! Landon fumbles with the key in his hand, getting more panicked that he should have been. Though the possibly of being lost and alone in a very large theme park was there, and what was probably keeping him on edge. <
Landon bites his lip, looking around. The scent of food picks up again and his stomach can’t help but grumble. Did he eat recently..? He makes his way over to one of the stores with food lining the display cases and tucks his letter and keys away in his pocket, pressing his hands against the glass and looking bewildered at the delicious treats like a child. Maybe he could…pay for something to eat..? But how..? Maybe he should wait until later..
He moves away from the stand, looking dejected before he notices someone standing there looking just about as lost as he is. A person! He makes his way over, giving them a warm smile. “Are you lost..?”
“If you’re not lost could you lead me to a map..? Maybe let me look at yers, yeah? I’m looking for a hotel…and maybe you could help me out..”
This place....she clenches her teeth, eyeing the park from behind the edges of her hoodie. Unease fills the crevices of her stomach, tossing and turning with surprising speed. This....is the last place she wants to be honestly. The. Very. Last. Amusement parks, theme parks - anything with roller coasters and haunted houses -- have never ever been her thing. In fact, if it was up to her, she'd avoid them completely. She'd consider it a blessing to have a life park-free quite frankly.
Especially this one.....Everything about this place makes her stomach flop, her skin crawl. Her face pulls into a heavy scowl. Just like her luck to end up here of all places. With no way out (she'd checked) and no clue how she got here in the first place..... It's all too fishy if you ask her and from her experience, that never ends well.
She jams her hands into her pockets, fingering the slip of paper she was given upon entering. A hotel number, a name and a few other things she doesn't care enough about to look through them. All in all, it seems pretty simple but....she's learned that not everything is as it seems. And this place seems like a perfect place for that to be true.
Feet stop and she blows out a sigh. Wonders if any of her friends have made it here too....Probably, if the past is any guide to the future. They always seem to gravitate toward each other, much to Kido's relief (it made her job that much easier).
It's then that she hears a voice, one that startles her out of her thoughts (startles because she was sure she'd been the only one around...otherwise she would've shrouded herself).
"Oh uh...." Lost? Well, that depends on if she's actually trying to get somewhere. He talks about hotels and she figures that's probably where she should be heading too... But does she really want to deal with this? She looks the man over and blows out a sigh. "Sorry. No map but I'm going there too....I guess we could look together."
