    Here  I  stand,

                            BLEEDING                            BRUISED  &                           BREATHLESS                                                                  —  but  still,

                                                       STANDING.

The group had to stop after Billy used Grim's scythe to cut open a cactus, attempting to drink the juice from it only to get two handfuls of spines. While his teacher and Grim pulled the spines out, Junior read, but looked up when he heard a strange sound.

He could've sworn he heard laughter, out in the distance. Glancing around, he spotted what seemed to be a young boy, zooming around in the air. Looking back to his class, they didn't seem to have noticed (or they didn't care), and so he decided to investigate himself.

Junior ran off from the group, propping himself up in the air with his tentacles, trying to get a better look at what was flying around.

He seemed to have caught the boy’s attention, watching as the Kid flew closer, eyes widening when he was threatened and accused of being an alien.

Not like he could blame him, though. He retracted his tentacles, dropping back to the ground, kicking up a lotta dust in the progress. Waving the sand away, he looked back up at the blond.

“ I’m not an alien or an invader! ” he was already called a freak at home, must it continue out of state as well? “ Can’t we just talk? ”

Not like he was against fighting bullies– he’d just rather not get in trouble on a field trip.

     woah !  this isnt what he expected an evil-doer from outer space to look like. he certainly didn’t resemble any of the other aliens that the kid had encountered so far while being in possession of the cosmic stones. the person before him looked pretty ... normal, all and all. he even had tinted glasses, just like kid !  even though his were green, it still caught the young hero’s attention.

     still, though !  it is important for aspiring heroes to not let their guard down until they are ABSOLUTELY sure that there is no threat amongst them !  after the sandy dust cleared, kid attempted to lower himself to the ground below. the descent was less than graceful, but he managed to place two feet on solid ground while only uttering a small OOF of pain. quickly standing up, kid places two tiny fists on his hips and glares at the other.
