It’s a dreary Tuesday afternoon, the only day of the week where Tumblr Anonymous is let off of work early enough to visit the graveyard. The latter enters the familiar flower shop and is instantly greeted with the overwhelming scent of flowers and a distracted greet of the florist, Curiouscat Anonymous. There’s another guest at the desk that is occupying Curiouscat Anonymous’ attention right now so Tumblr Anonymous stands off to the side patiently, tapping their foot lightly to the nonexistent Taekook subunit playing through the antiquated radio.
“Twitter really liked the bouquet. Until this morning when they realised I forgot to buy the right coffee grounds and threw it at the window,” a nervous chuckle escapes the guest.
“Well,” the florist starts out before their eyes roll into the back of their heads and they collapse into a heap, the bouquet they were slowly working on falling to the side on their desk. A gasp escapes the guest as she rushes behind the desk.
Tumblr Anonymous follows suit going behind the desk and pulls out their phone in a flurry, mashing the three digits in before pressing their phone to the ear before interrupting the operator’s first syllable, “Curiouscat seems to be down!”
It all happens in a blur when the call ends, ambulances, police, and fire trucks rush to the scene, and the mysterious guest and Tumblr Anonymous are pushed away. And then when the scene all unravels, the dust clears, they see a body bag.
The guest looks Tumblr Anonymous carefully with sharp, wide eyes. The latter only returns the look before they are interrupted by an ambulance worker.
“Curiouscat Anonymous is dead.”
“How?” Tumblr Anonymous asks first.
The worker shrugs before walking away.
“Well, shoot.” The woman curses under her breath, drawing Tumblr Anonymous’ attention again. “I needed to buy a bouquet.”
“Me too,” Tumblr Anonymous nods their head uselessly. “I usually buy a bouquet from them every week.”
“Oh,” she crosses her arms with a coat around her body hugging her closer, “how come?”
Tumblr Anonymous turns their body to face the other better, “My dead grandmother likes flowers.”
The woman chuckles nervously, their foot shifting anxiously back and forth, “I’m so sorry.”
“It’s okay,” Tumblr Anonymous lets out a lighthearted laugh, “I’m Tumblr Anonymous by the way.”
“kicksomeacid,” she introduces with a small smile and an endearing shake of her head.
“Do you come by often?” Tumblr Anonymous gestures to the flower shop where police are scuttling in and out, “To buy flowers, I mean.”
kicksomeacid shrugs, “I’m pretty sure I was at least half of Curiouscat Anonymous’ sales because my current partner… They get mad so the only way to placate them, is buying them flowers.”
Tumblr Anonymous nods understandingly before speaking bravely, “I know another place that sells boutiques if you want to go?”
kicksomeacid’s grin impossibly widens and it has Tumblr Anonymous feeling like they just got shot with a rainbow, “Of course.”
