     ”No. I apology.” He says softly as he stares up at the other with soft blood hued optics. “If dead then… is angel?”

                                  "H A HA!          Angel!"   Imagine - - an angel.  That  really  could not  have  been  much    further from the truth. The tips of cracked lips twitched, forming   a small, inquisitive smirk, and silently the shadow-less creature   landed on the ground in a crouch before the child. Marshall did   not  often spend  time  among  the young  and,  really, were he    not  intrigued by  the  very  presence of  this  small  human,  he    would  have long  shrugged the kid off.  But he was  curious by   the boy, and only cocked his  head to the  opposite side before   speaking up,  folding his arms and resting elbows on his knees.                         "Demon.                                         Do you know what THAT is?                                                               Now, I've got a question for                               you, squirt.   Where're your                              parents at?"

                                       "U h..                                             It's a long story."   And not typically one strangers were exceedingly interested in.   What a strange child  -  and almost,  dare he say,  familiar, but   not  enough to  draw up  any names.  Funny.  The half-demon   didn't often falsely  remember anything,  let alone anyone.  He   had  to  assume it  was the  human  factor  that  threw  him off.    After all,  human company  was quite rare  in the  land  of Aaa.      Either way didn't really matter, he supposed.  Marshall always   was  one to enjoy  talking about himself.  He tilted  his head to   point at  the fang marks  along his neck,  eternally red against   pale flesh.                              "The gist?                                      Bitten by a vampire.                                      Know what  that is?"
