“Oh, well I didn’t think it was necessary to wear uniform on the weekend, not when I have so many cute other clothes.” Kat gave the person in front of her a winning smile, glancing down at her teal dress. “It’s a muggle designer, Luisa Prada , her family founded the company 64 years ago.” 

“It’s not. It’s just that this dress...” Maureen started, looking up the girl again. “It’s fancy? At least, for a trip to Hogsmeade.” She said, although there was a grin on her lips. “That’s interesting. I wish I knew a little more about those muggle designers.”

“You here to gawk? Or here to ask for something? Either way, fuck off.” He said with a scoff, not bothering to look up from what he was doing. 

“I was coming to ask if you wanted to partner for the Defense assignment. But if this is how you react, I’ll just find someone else.”

“No, no, I’m FINE,” Leon grumbled as he got out of the hospital bed. After the Hufflepuff’s loss in the game, he was a mess. As the new captain, he wanted to make a good impression and show the rest that the badgers were a serious competition. And now he felt like failed his team and his House. “I need to book the pitch before the Slytherins do it first,” he mumbled as he tried to keep his balance but in reality, he looked like a Bambi learning how to walk. On ice. 

“You don’t look fine.” Maureen started, a frown quickly appearing on her face as he tried to walk. He was obviously not fine, but it’d be easier to force him back in the bed than to make him realize he wasn’t fine. “Don’t worry about the pitch, or Slytherins. Your next game is not until a few months. Just go back to bed before you fall and hurt yourelf for good.”

“Come on. No one saw anything,” Jaxon assured his latest conquest, chuckling as he held their hips from behind. He stepped back, giving them a final kiss to the cheek and he stepped away. Looking up, he saw that he’d been spotted and smiled, “How’s it going?” 

“Oh, I’m good. But-” Maureen started before motioning vaguely to the girl he’d just stepped away from. “I think she’d be better with a kiss on the lips.” She teased, not actually all that bothered by the display of affection. It wasn’t anything new within the walls of Hogwarts, although most tried to do it in broom closets.

“You can’t sit with us, only winners allowed.” 

“Too bad for you, I don’t really follow those rules.”
