"Ah, thank you. It’s good to have a break." She smiled lightly at Nanami’s still sleepy face

Kirigiri had brought herself a lunch, so she went and grabbed it out of her desk.

…Well, that’s a detention. Please attempt to keep your sleeping OUTSIDE of class. If you’re so tired, perhaps you should get to sleep earlier, Nanami-kun.

[He pulled a pad of detention slips out of his pocket, along with a small pen, and began scribbling away.]

"Really? A detention?" Nanami was a little angry at that fact, but she soon brushed it off.

He continued on for a few more steps before noticing that his walking partner had stopped.

Fallen asleep, in fact. In the middle of the sidewalk.

Tanaka hovered nearby, unsure if he should wake her up, and if so, how. He took a step closer to her.

"Hm. Er. This isn’t an ideal place to sleep, o dreaming one." He raised his voice a bit. "Hello?"

"..."

Surprisingly, she drifted back into consciousness rather quickly.

"Mhm. That’s what I thought," he said. Such a blunt comment could easily be taken in offence, but he didn’t mean it that way. He simply knew. Or rather, the probability of Nanami’s inattention to that particular detail was extremely high. 

"I’ll walk you back to your room, if that’s acceptable. You have quite the load of studying to catch up on."

He released one of her hands to pat his shoulder bag. It was stuffed to capacity with books and papers, both his own and hers.

Nanami yawned and took a look at where Izuru was gesturing. "...That's a lot of work." She commented.

If his backpack was stuffed to capacity, with just her and his alone, they definitely had some work to do.

"But yeah, we should get going now. Come on, Kamukura-kun."

"Would you mind if I joined you at lunch?" She asked.

She had no interest in spending yet another lunch by herself among a pile of files and papers. It happened almost every day and even Kirigiri needs a break sometimes.

"Oh, I don't mind at all!" Nanami replied.

"Heh. If you consider taming beasts from the very pit of hell ‘fun’… Then indeed, I have been having fun."

"Oh, well I'm glad... I'm glad..." She yawned, and then...

"For a Super High School Level Gamer, I’d be more worried if Nanami-san didn’t like to play games. But… well, she won’t be able to play anymore games if she fails school.”

"Don't say things like that, Komaeda-kun. I'm not gonna fail school." Nanami puffed out her cheeks.

…Please explain to me why you slept through the entire class period. At the beginning of class, you put your head down…and did not lift it up once. You did not take any notes, you did not even raise your hand.

"Oh, you know... I was a little sleepy. I haven't gotten much sleep lately."

Kirigiri was crouched down beside Nanami as she slept in her desk. She looked up at the other girl as she slowly woke up.

"Good morning, sleepy head. You fell asleep during class. It’s lunch hour now."

"Oh, is it...? Well, I don't think it'd hurt to sleep a little more..."

She sighed.

Tanaka wasn’t sure if she was tired because it was early in the morning, or if it was just her nature. He fell in step beside her as they walked across the courtyard of their school.

"Hm. This realm, though typical, has a.. certain charm. It has served me well thus far in my travels. How are you faring, o mortal?"

She thought about Gundam's answer for a moment.

His way of speaking was a bit hard to follow, but at the same time, it was really understandable. Almost like those wise wizards in an RPG...
