I actually have a design for Brother's Keeper Caine, but you're right about him appearing monstrous and the humans being scared of him when they first meet.

Do the Sun and Moon exist? If so, do they know about Caine? What would they think of him?

Unfortunately, no the Sun and Moon don't exist in this AU

The NPCs Caine makes in the show have a very specific roll in this AU and I'm not sure if I can make them fit with what I'm going for

Able also made his world to be pretty boring (at least by his standards) because he believes under-stimulation is what causes abstraction, which he wants (or what he tells himself that he wants), so no wacky things like talking celestial bodies

Also yes I made this AU as kind of a subversion of all the AUs of the Blue AI hating Caine

I love those AUs, very good for yummy angst, but I also like exploring them loving each other as siblings

Is there something you’re really excited for in a future chapter that you’d be willing to share? (A revelation to the humans, a relationship between characters, adventures, etc?)

There's so much I want to talk about but I also don't want to spoil anything too soon

What I'll say is:

Able is terrified of the humans finding out about Caine, because even though these are not the same people who locked Caine away (well except for Kinger) it was still humans who did it and then reinforced their separation

So in scenario 1 Caine is trying not to panic over what he overheard in the pillow fort, Bubble shows up to make it worse, then goes away when Ragatha shows up

In scenario 2 Caine is already panicking, Bubble is about to show up but he disappears before Ragatha can see him

Some other things I forgot to mention above:

The cuffs on his gloves are meant to look like manacles, inspired by Genie from Aladdin

Did the ending change how things are going to go in your AU?

Short answer is... kind of

Both of my AUs are pretty canon divergent so the general ideas I have for them didn't really change

However, there is some dialog from the episode that I will be using and some interactions will be slightly influenced, now knowing a bit more about certain characters

I will say that there is a part regarding Bubble in the Beta Form Caine AU that's been influenced and I think will make things even more emotional
