Oh Hello Again~!

Part Two

Like the Pink Cast, the bluedents are in their very own investigative body that TEMPORARILY be known as the Tetro Blue Police Department, or TBPD. They solve mostly murders. I want these bodies to have names distinct of where the characters first came from.

The TBPD actually has quite a reputation for employing former criminals. Some view this as giving people chance to work on the right side of the law. I imagine the TBPD has gathered less trust than the TPPD because of this.

Detectives: Ikeda and Yaitabashi

I was stuck between having him be chief and having him work with Ikeda and eventually decided this since we already have a silly-jerkwad duo at the sister department

Ikeda is definitely an annoying cop and Yaitabashi is just trying to bring him in

I find their dynamic very fun

But both are rather intelligent and good at solving these mysteries

Police Chief: Yokoi

The heart of the group

They all love her and she’s trying her hardest to solve all this crime

Was offered a deal in high school when her forgeries were discovered

Lab Chief:

I have genuinely no clue who this should be.

Yaitabashi can certainly ID plants and plant matter

And Ikeda can definitely ID art works

But as for the other stuff I have no clue.

Tech Experts: Maekawa and Ogura

They analyze with technical evidence like machines, cameras, that kind of stuff

They yap all day together

Maekawa focuses on the more mechanical side of things, analyzing machines and blueprints and that stuff

Ogura handles the hacking and computers and stuff

Ogura was caught on her computer crimes and offered a deal to work for the TBPD to hunt down creeps legally instead

I feel like Ogura chats with the TPPD tech experts frequently

Coroner: Hirose

Again the only person I could think of that could be remotely qualified for this job

He got caught doing illegal surgeries and was offered a deal and such

He wants to one day go from figuring out how people died to keeping them from dying in the first place (I.E. becoming a surgeon again).

Weapons Expert: Akiba Taku

He’s our extra professional

He’s getting his life together

Professional at archery

Studied many other weapons when told he could acquire this kind of job

Besties with Ogura

People outside the investigations

They’re all mostly doing the same thing they were doing they were pre-killing game except they’re older now

Nishiguchi and Kumada are still a yakuza princess and gang leader respectively. They each became friends with Yaitabashi. It makes it mega awkward when he inevitably finds out they’re criminals.

Matthias gets saved by virtue of Ikeda’s horrendous excuse of a father getting busted and Ikeda and the TBPD going after his trafficking connections and clients, as well as Ogura’s efforts. Though unfortunately he might only finally be rescued after the main story starts because Ikeda doesn’t really even remember him and there’s many creeps they’re also hunting down.

This may be OOC but canon is dead. (This is kind of a Yandere AU.)

Wada and Hasegawa, in that order, kill. I know Okazaki is Wada’s victim, but I’m not 100% sure who Hasegawa’s would be. I originally went with Hama (Watari is really going through it), but I think Tamba, Hiroaki, or Ojima could work.

Wada is just sick of Okazaki. Completely hates and fears her guts after the broken ribs incident. He’s pretty sure she’s going to kill someone. Okazaki is likely planning something, and the knowledge that her success in her devious plan won’t mean the death of Watari may push her to make an effort to succeed in a murder plot.

Wada also wants to ensure Tsuno’s safety. He cares about other people too, but Tsuno’s family now. Tsuno is one the first people to give him any kind of love. He’s obligated to protect his sister, isn’t he?

So, he lures Okazaki somewhere to douse her in water and electrocute her in a trap. Maybe it’s with his impersonations. They are important to the plan either way and are part of why he’s caught.

Now Hasegawa is obviously trying to get Kamimura out. He’s the one person he’s really close to. Paranoia gets the best of him.

I also like to think Kamimura still starts making long term plans around this time.

Hasegawa acts earlier than he wanted to, but given the possibility of someone else taking the motive before him, (evident by the fact someone did), he acts within days. I was originally thinking poison, something difficult to trace back to him, but somehow does get traced back anyway. Possibly loyalty game, but I’m thinking trial. Maybe after poisoning the victim he goes to return the poison but stumbles across Okazaki’s body.

Either way, Tsuno is devastated because she missed the warning signs with Wada who is executed before her eyes. Watari is devastated over at least Okazaki’s death. And Kamimura know has to continue with the knowledge that his closest friend was ready to murder 10 people for their escape, and did murder one. Also Hasegawa has to face the consequences for MURDERING someone.

I like those AUs where Hasegawa kills for Kamimura. And I think Wada deserves to lose it.

Isono: good teeth, maybe a little yellow.

Harada: He had braces in middle school but now his teeth are perfect

Chiba: Naturally good teeth

Kamimura: Teeth are a little wonky, canines are a little pointy

Hayashi: Got a filling for cavities, that’s it

Wada: Teeth are a little crooked and yellow, probably has cavities he’s neglecting to get treatment for.

Sasaki: Good Teeth, also had braces in middle school

Ojima: Well taken care of teeth

Okazaki: Could’ve used braces, very pointy canines

Hama: Pointy canines

Tsuno: Decent Teeth, had to get a fake one after a fight, using whiteners, really yellow when she was younger

Hiroaki: As he put it, he had perfect teeth

Tamba: had a few cavities, and braces at one point

Hasegawa: had one cavity

Watari: Very pointy canines

Yanagi: Very nice teeth

Tetro Blue

Ouno: the kind of teeth where she could never brush but still wouldn’t get cavities

Ninomiya: had braces he HATED for a while before and after he ran away, very pointy caines

Kumada: yellowish, pointy canines

Ikeda: Snaggle Tooth

Denden: Nothing interesting

Matthias: Good teeth besides an untreated cavity

Yokoi: Buck teeth

Yaitabashi: Alright, uses teeth whiteners now

Maekawa: Nothing weird

Hirose: Had braces until recently

Ogura: Had like five cavities, but otherwise okay

Shishikura: Braces obviously, going well

Isoda: Alright teeth

Tei: Yellowish teeth, but otherwise okay

Nishiguchi: Has a gap in her two front teeth

Based on my redesign of Yaitabashi, he wears curlers to bed.

Isoda has vivid lucid dreams. Heard about them as a kid and was like “Wait, I could learn how to control my dreams? Sign me up!” But this has backfired as they now deal with sleep paralysis from time to time.

Shishikura takes really good care of his hair. Shampoos and conditions the right way with good products, never neglecting brushing, etc. It’s the most silky thing ever. He really likes his hair. He terrified it’ll get matted and he’d be forced to cut it short.

Speaking of hair Kumada has so many split ends but she keeps bleaching it and she’s attached to the length so she just rips them off whenever she sees them.

Yokoi is constantly working on a campaign or DnD character in the background. Whenever she has time she’d jot more down for that character’s backstory or ideas for the next campaign, etc. Something is always on the back burner. Too bad she didn’t have her drafts in the killing game.

She’s gotten decent at drawing visuals for them too. Yokoi isn’t as good as her artsy talented classmates, but she’s not bad at drawing.

You’d think that his surgery dexterity would kick in but Hirose can’t draw or write in nice handwriting to save his life

Ikeda adores those Airhead bites. That’s what I was picturing he got during MMTSITM. I feel like Tei would save up for them as surprise treat. At this point he should get to have something like that.

Neither Ikeda nor Shishikura learned how to swim. Shishikura could float, but Ikeda would absolutely drown.

Nishiguchi and Kumada would imply they could get people for Yaitabashi. He never accepts. Kumada would just imply sending goons to jump someone but Nishiguchi could and would disappear someone for Yaitabashi if he said the word.

Ogura introduces Matthias to Umamusume and the rest is history he’d love it.

Ogura was one of those kids who had to be fought to get her loose baby teeth out. HATED to have to deal with the dentist more than her parents though.

Ninomiya has tongue piercing. Don’t remember if this is a head cannon or not.

If Yokoi found out Ouno was working on learning how to read, she’d help tutor her and then Maria

Akiba is someone animals just adore. It’s known he feeds the cats but he also a feeder of the crows and more and more corvids have become allies of his as the word spreads. He’s gotten quite a few gifts from them all, quite a bit a money too.

I returned to my roots.

Now this version is different since the antagonist and support things made no sense so I just had a protag/memory carrier.

For context, in my mind all these wheels AUs may exist as different loops in a time loop AU.

Chapter 1

Daily Life

It depends on how much memory Denden initially gets.

If she can stop Ouno from getting the microwave Ikeda might not get as many punishments come Voter Game because given Kumada and the others rally he’s probably doomed to more than one

Though I’d like to think someone else got the brand at least like the guy who literally volunteered

If Denden can’t stop Ouno from getting to microwave in time she might just “stumble” upon it or just distract Akiba and Ogura to keep them out of the storage room.

Maybe she tries to befriend Ouno, dissuade her from killing

Besides that, things probably don’t go too differently

Deadly Life

Victim: “Tsukigata Hideyuki” (Matthias De Clerq)

Killer: Ouno Nanae

OUNO THIS WAS YOUR CHANCE FOR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND YOU TO REVEAL MORE THAN THREE THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF

And you HAD to take out Matthias before he could even explain his situation or seek help or anything

Poor Matthias man. He was freed of his trafficking situation just to die immediately in a killing game

Also since they were connected 7 times out of 8 Ninomiya probably witnessed it even if Ouno was forced to go a route other than the microwave

If it’s truly a Higanbana situation Matthias might’ve been trying to subtlety ask for help out of the hellhole he was trapped in outside

Depending on her memory Denden may have to sit with the guilt of failing to stop Ouno again and inadvertently getting Matthias of all people killed

Ogura is wrecked by grief and being comforted by Akiba rather than Hidemi

Yokoi still has Ouno’s death on her back

Sad chapter all around

Chapter 2

Daily Life

For one Akiba is still here so he gets spend kore ✨time together✨ with Ogura and potentially form some other bonds like with the now even more traumatized Ninomiya and Tei

Speaking of Ninomiya, Mattmiya never takes off and now his closest friend at that point is gone

Also, with Matthias dying immediately, Ikeda can’t dump everything about him at dinner when he wants back at Kumada. One account of Matthias not being able to say anything about himself to anyone anymore so Ikeda has to figure something else out

And since no one knows about Matthias being trafficked or could save him from it now he’s dead, he’s never going to beg Ogura to save him and Ikeda right before the motive

And since it’s obvious Ogura absolutely being targeted by that virtue, there’s probably going to be completely different BLEEDING

No one knows who they are until the body pops up so continuing on

People might not get poisoned this time since different people are carrying out the BLEEDING plot

Victim: Yokoi Ruka

Killer: Yaitabashi Sou

Why Ruka. Genuinely Yaita why did you go for Ruka?

Maybe to destabilize any other authority come trial time?

Maybe the target was different but Yokoi got caught in the crossfire last minute

Route one: this wasn’t a BLEEDING kill, but a sacrifice

Basically Yaitabashi and Yokoi gave their lives like Nishiguchi suggested she would, maybe because Nishiguchi offered herself up

Route two: Majong Trio BLEEDING

Yaitabashi decided to be the killer because he would absolutely be the mastermind of that plot and he wouldn’t want the others dying for his scheme

That would be a rough trail if YAITABASHI was the killer, not to mention that multiple people are backing him up in the plot

Somehow they live.

Maybe Hirose, Denden or Isoda by extension, are recruited idk who the third would be

Either way, Kumada and Nishiguchi are distraught

Yokoi and Yaitabashi were both leaders who will be missed

Chapter 3

Daily Life

Kumada might still be relatively isolated thanks to the potential BLEEDING thing

The leader is gone

Ogura and Nishiguchi get to spend more ✨time together✨ with their friends

Things look better otherwise

Maybe Akiba takes Yokoi’s place in the Happy Family

Maybe Mattmiya died so Akitei could happen

Then the motive comes

With Yaitabashi gone Nishiguchi might take up some punishments or it devolves into voter game hopefully not

Either way Isoda probably gets a weird magic eye or something

Victim 1: Akiba Taku

Killer: Kumada Erina

MATTMIYA DIED SO AKITEI COULD DIE IN THE SAME CHAPTER TOO

Kumada was probably gunning for Ikeda and Tei got in the way

Or Tei jumped her to try and protect Ikeda or Akiba and got killed because she’s a literal gang leader and he’s a part timer

Akiba might’ve also been trying to save someone but idk how Kumada’s beating him without some kind of trap

I never spinned to specify if there was one or two killers so maybe Tei was killed by someone else or maybe he somehow for some reason killed Akiba we don’t know

Either way Ogura is even worse off. She was wailing in grief when she knew Akiba for a week how bad will it be when she’s known him for triple that time

Also what’s Ikeda going to do? He depended on Tei. Tei was the one person who loved him unconditionally and took care of him. What is he going to do without permission?

Also Nishiguchi just had to watch Yaitabashi die. And now Kumada backstabbed her by killing.

Speaking of which, did Kumada kill out of fear of the motive or something, because I imagined Nishiguchi and/or Ogura would offer themselves up to die

Maybe she just snapped on Tei and it devolved into her having to shove a shelf on Akiba or throw a knife in his eye or something when he came to try and save Tei

Either way, at least three people are losing it

Chapter 4

Daily Life

Ogura, Ikeda, and Nishiguchi are all dealing with a lot of grief

probably Ninomiya too since I can see Akiba becoming his friend

Ogura and Nishiguchi might be managing, but I also see them throwing themselves at the chance to sacrifice themselves to push the game further along or stop a bad motive

Ikeda probably shut down

Maybe Denden or Ogura is trying to get close to him to look after him in Tei and Akiba’s absence

Depending on how much they might’ve gotten out of Ikeda at that point I imagine they might be planning a way to get him out of that single room

Ninomiya may or may not be low on insulin depending on how the wheel goes so he’s got that looming over him

In this timeline he might not have ever had his insulin stolen since Yokoi died

Also the recording room opens up so they might find out more stuff on the others, particularly “Tsukigata” and Ouno

This time around Shishikura isn’t Shishikiller so he’s doing as well as he could in a death game

He probably still makes that Kamidana

Then the motive hits

I don’t see anyone freaking out any less

Oh Miochi…

Isoda might not have been suicidal anymore by the time the game started but we’ve all seen what is does to people

Isoda might’ve gotten more sick of it this time around, or just sacrificed themselves so the group wouldn’t be stuck with a foot of air

Denden and Hirose are absolutely devastated

She and Maekawa have a lot of info about “Tsukigata” to give so more guilt for Ogura

This is just sad

Chapter 5

Daily Life

Oh boy

Maekawa and Shishikura and the only ones who weren’t particularly close to someone who died I’m scared

Hirose and Denden are destroyed, Ninomiya too

Isoda’s death on top the stress of taking care of people might push Hirose over the edge

Denden is trying to stop that.

Ninomiya has probably watched Matthias die, lost Akiba and now Isoda, dudes becoming the Wada of this game

Ogura and Nishiguchi are probably also too self-sacrificing

Thought Nishiguchi is probably the one person carrying Kumada’s memory outside of the murders so maybe she’s okay

Maybe Ogura has reason to stick around as in getting Ikeda away from the monster he calls a father

Speaking of Ikeda, probably still really traumatized and broken down by Tei’s death

Motive time: Shishikura’s still freaking out, Ikeda might be probably freaking out too

Defense game probably still ends in everyone getting branded thanks to Maekawa, to everyone’s anger

I doubt the phone call/extra motive, forgoing a day of injection to double everyone else’s would get taken, or the free clue/random starving student letters would be accepted

The lab ban/killing game file one isn’t that likely, but I could see it getting taken by one or two of these guys

But the sleep and dorm sacrifices might get taken

Not to mention the extra sacrifice that’d we have given 8 people rather than 7

Cage game, given how much Maekawa and Tei’s fighting influenced it in canon it could go any way

Probably not to Hirose or Ikeda if I had to guess though

Loyalty game is still hell. Get them out

I’m hoping her mafia family goes and takes out Ikeda’s dad please Nishiguchi he has it coming

Either way, she deserved out and hopefully got a lot more screen time in this universe

I feel like if Hasegawa somehow became the blackened and Kamimura was still alive (which would already be sad because if Kamimura was still around I highly doubt it wouldn’t some degree of accident) some of his last words would probably end up being something along the lines of:

“Whatever you do, please, please look away. Look away and cover your ears, okay?”

Like hello it makes references to the literal Bible and other things as well also the games name is project Eden's garden

There’s people who think the story titled Project: Eden’s Garden has no religious themes?

I wouldn’t know whats going on with the fandom on twitter because I’m too scared of twitter tbh. But like, do people see a story with apple/forbidden fruit theming in the icon for the game and think people are being weird for “bringing” religious themes into it.

I think the allusions and references are meant to further, enhance, and bring to light the themes already there. I think it’s going to be an overall narrative thing. I think every single chapter it’s going to play a role and keep going and going and perhaps eventually foreshadow the mastermind and the ultimate (pun unintended) reasoning behind the killing game even happening. The ball is already rolling:

MAJOR Spoilers for DEADLY LIFE of Chapter One of P:EG

The first killing is committed by a girl with a version of the name Eve. She started the sinning/killing. She is literally thrown into the fire.

Mild Spoiler Warning: (the original) Cupheadronpa, Tetro Danganronpa (This Blog does not support Von)

Spoiler Warning: Danganronpa Antebellum LOCKDOWN

I’m not sure where to start. I can count on one hand the amount of fangans I’ve personally seen straight up confirm what happens to the characters after they die. Then again, I have some fangans I’ve yet to watch/play. Maeve has an afterlife that plays a massive role in the story for all I know.

Okay there’s only one fangan I’ve gotten to which 100% has an afterlife, canonically exists and is referenced. I’ve only gotten to chapter two of Cupheadronpa. For context, it’s cancelled fangan on instagram, (instaronpa), which is apparently being rewritten. As the name implies, it’s a crossover fangan, meaning it sticks characters from another piece of media (Cuphead) in a danganronpa style killing game.

It also takes other canon from cuphead into the story, I.E. its afterlife.

For those unfamiliar, Cuphead has that classic cartoon firey pit of hell and a heaven. That hell, the Devil who rules it and hell’s casino is what the original game’s plot revolves around. And many of the participants work in that casino and assure their co-workers/found family that they’ll see them again there or that the killers will be burn for their evil deeds.

Besides that, I can’t say I’ve seen an afterlife, or lack there of, confirmed in any fanganronpa besides Tetro Danganronpa. A lot of fans don’t like this, (including myself—), to the point of just ignoring that canon. The series is already bleaker, darker, and edgier than the original Danganronpa. A lot of fans have accused the writing of being anti-recovery, (and I agree with them.)

So to add in the idea of these beloved characters certainly ceasing to exist after dying before they’ve even become adults and dying brutal, horrific deaths is kind of too bleak for many’s taste. And these are Fanganronpa fans, Tetro Danganronpa fans. I say that as someone who fits those categories.

I’ve yet to come across a fangan with a confirmed afterlife besides those.

I do find it interesting how Antebellum LOCKDOWN has repeat brought up the idea of desiring to reincarnate to a better next life.

Spoilers for the first two killers, and second victim.

Shinku indulges Dracul right before his execution, talking about how they’ll all meet again in their next lives and hang out again.

It’s comfort. It’s saying “this isn’t goodbye! It’s see you later”. “We’ll get to try Baja Blasts together and play DnD with you eventually. We won’t miss out on that for the world.”

Molly told Fu about how she hoped to be reborn as someone who could be loved. She hoped by escaping this miserable life she messed up, she’d move onto one where she wouldn’t be lonely.

Takiko expresses a desire to live normally and happily with Asuga, who swiftly fires back about how it’s never this life. It’s never this life spent in a killing game they’ll get to live carefree.

It hammers in the tragedy in what the fallen never at least perceive getting to live normal happy long lives with the their friends. They just want to eventually get to do what they never were able to before the killing game ended their lives.

All that’s left for them is the hope that they’ll meet again and love and care for each other some sunny day.

Most fangans I see simply leave that with that hope or at least room for it. There’s hope the people who die in those killing games are still around in some way or will return eventually.

One: I have no clue who the Lab Chief should be.

Two: I’m stuck between Chief Yaitabashi and Police Partners Yokoi-Ikeda and Chief Yokoi and Police Partners Yaita-Ikeda.

I’ve been working on an AU for a Tetro Pink and Tetro Blue motive swap.

And the thing about the Pink cast is that I am struggling to come up a case for the handcuff motive. Most of them aren’t exactly itching to stab each other.

And the thing about the Bluedents is that there’s a million ways their game could’ve gone with pink’s motives.
