I wanna know more abt Atrophy's past

Guh well he was rejected from the village because he was born with severe leg and foot deformities. Though he was also seen as a bastion of negativity so the village revered him in some way.
They decided it was best if they separated him from his sibling. He was chained to the tree, most of his body was binded with fabrics and his legs were held down by weights. The knights of the villagers were instructed to keep him in check and monitor Atrophy. One knight, the red knight- was delegated to feeding Atrophy.
Skipping a lot of things because- it is just way too graphic and spoilery.
Anyways whatever happened between him and the knights is why he has such an off relationship with horror feeding and caring for him. In some way it’s him trying to relive it all in a way where he’s in control of the situation. But that’s kinda tragic because horrors going to try to take control of him.
The knights are also the main reason Atrophy decided to eat the rotten apple. Not only was he starting to starve but The main knight threatened to get close to Dream and Atrophy couldn’t handle the thought of Dream even being close to him.
modern Atrophy interprets that as jealousy. But he knows deep down that he was willing to kill himself for dream even in a state where he felt fully abandoned and betrayed by him.
He really rejects this as something he experienced tho, he sees his true birth when he fully turned into rot. Atrophy’s first genuine steps were him filling the lungs and guts of those knights, popping them from the inside out.
Man him and horror are really similar.. anyways there’s as much as I can say
