this will make sense to a total of like 3 people (you know who you are) but the way people are going crazy over bloodymary reminds me so much of the people in the Drizzt fandom who refuse to acknowledge the actual story in favor of only focusing on the (at the point of Sellswords) awfully toxic relationship that Artemis and Jarlaxle have. It reminds me of how the relationships Artemis has with Calihye and later Dahlia are ignored, how they're "in the way" of jartemis, how both are being called evil and horrible for the crime of being...complex female characters? It's the same that's being done to Eva Stratt and it really is the same in every fandom again and again it's ridiculous.
