I had a dream about The Hollow after 6 years
In an alternate timeline I think, or if somehow what happened in season 2 didnât fully work, Adam, Mira and Kai (Kai was mostly absent in the dream for some reason) were back in the game again. However, it was very backrooms-y. Itâs like their whole digital world was slowly collapsing, similarly to season 1 when they realized they were in a game. Anyway, Adam and Mira actually showed up much later in my dreamâŠso I have to fill a lot of details on what happened instead. I think basically Adam and Mira got Clarked. (Backrooms ref that I made up) Their digital world had this third connection to the real world that caused another dimension to seep in. That other dimension goes beyond our universe, but somehow is connected to season oneâs Hollow Games.
Adam, in the dream, randomly appeared in the house I was in, and so did Mira and Kai. But, the focus was completely shifted onto them now, and it looked like I was just watching another season of The Hollow (even if the background and setting theyâre in isnât cartoony and looks realistic) Adam notices something weird in the house, like..some of the walls looked too..âfakeâ or something, which ultimately sounds weird but hey..itâs Adam talking so who cares lmao.. Mira and Kai, confused, both try asking him about it and doesnât see what heâs talking about. Thatâs until Adam touches one of the walls, which turns into a black, oval shaped door. Once that happens, Adam literally gets sucked into it, almost, I mean. The air around him gets super compressed, pushing him further. Kai and Mira try saving him obviously, but then midway into trying to grab Adam, they freeze, and fade into black silhouettes of themselves. Adam for some reason, has the intuition to snap his fingers to possibly get out of this before itâs too late, since he already stepped into this weird false universe. So, like how Weirdy snaps his fingers to teleport, Adam does the same which grants him back into the house.
Mira, concerned, steps forward (in which now Kai finally has no relevance to the dream..sad!) And the focus is shifted onto her. She asks Adam what happened, and once she understands how he got back so quickly, she tells him to keep snapping his fingers. Possibly, Adam is the Weirdy of this reality / universe now. As Adam pops back in forth, we see almost a ghostly look of what the reality heâs transported in looks like. And yes, itâs an all yellow looking office space just like the backrooms! This is when they start thinking that maybe..theyâre in another game. But after Adam explains what he saw when he was briefly in there, Mira suggests that instead of them being in a game, theyâre in something beyond just something Hollow Games , or Hollow Life. Something has happened to them, and in theyâre in this weird reality shifting, universe bending purgatory. Later on, Mira decides to pack random necessities in a black trash bag, she believes that since theyâre not even in a game anymore, or in the virtual reality she lives in, there wouldnât be a satchel or anything like it to help them navigate that alternate reality. She asks Adam if he can go inside one last time by snapping, but then..he gets sucked in completely WITHOUT Mira.
When Adam processes the place heâs in now, suddenly he feels sick to his stomach. Heâs basically in this empty Hotel area, but with little to no actual hotel doors. It was red, and looked pretty much exactly like this. âŹïž
But instead of it being tightly packed like this, it was insanely spaced out. Almost as if you were walking in a movie theater where the doors are for each movie. (But instead of movie lineups and lots of doors, just imaging 15-20 red doors evenly spaced out across the walls on both ends. The composition and build looks like this âŹïž Just with the design, wallpaper and color of the photos I showed above.
Adam starts freaking out. He feels dizzy, and itâs almost like the room itself starts to have this reverberated effect, like the person viewing has a concussion. (Only, itâs not the person, it is their surroundings.) Adam slowly starts to navigate, and realizes that he was in the same suit that he wore back in Season 2 with Louie. He was confused, but ultimately feeling more and more depressed as he kept moseying around the area. (Iâm not sure why..??) None of this felt right. He shouldnât have gone here, he thought in his mind. Thatâs when Mira finally shows up where Adam is at. Theyâre at a dead end of the tightly packed hallway that they do eventually end up walking in. This time, entering a slightly bigger and spaced out area where thereâs only one door on one of the faces / walls (to the left of them) which was black now, and then another black door on other face/wall that was in the middle of the one on the right, which had no doors. The roomâs âaspect ratioâ basically was 3:4 shaped. Adam notices Mira and her black trash bag, also wearing the same dress she wore in Season 2, then asks how she even got here. She replies with something along the lines of; âusing the black entrance door instead of snapping my fingersâ That makes Adam question if heâs literally the only person whoâs able to teleport at all now.
He starts to talk about how weirdly sick to his stomach heâs feeling, and claustrophobic despite mostly everything being so widely spaced out. Then tells Mira smth like this: âMira, I donât think we should even be here right now.â almost in a grim manner, as if he can feel that something bad is going to happen. Mira does reply that she feels the same way, but she believes that maybe, for some reason, they SHOULD be here. As if thereâs something here that can grant them with new information or something. Thatâs when Adam begrudgingly goes along with Miraâs word, and then suggests that they could enter one of the two doors mentioned earlier. They both walk in, (Now with Mira forgetting her trash bag đ) And then step inside the room, only to realize itâs literally the exact same thing as the one they were in now, but just even smaller and more..dulled out. More reverberated, almost like it would flicker into that yellow Backrooms-y wallpaper, which it did. Suddenly the door shuts for them, and theyâre locked inside. Adam and Mira obviously start panicking, trying to get out, and after a couple minutes they accept defeat. They both sit on the floor together, almost waiting for something to enter. They definitely werenât alone.
After more excruciatingly long minutes of loud silence, they hear noise. It sounded like two women, and one man. The door opens, and we see one woman, also looking like she could be in The Hollow, step inside. Then the other, one looking exactly like her, also steps inside. They lookedâŠfamiliar. Almost as if they were in season 1 of the show, at least to Adam. Mira was very much panicking, tensing up immediately. I think here they whispered to eachother, and while I donât remember what it was about, I can guess it was them asking if they still had their powers due to them possibly being in another threatening situation. When they turn their heads back around, they see this green, slimy realistic looking monster, who I think was a cyclops (?) enter in. He had purple-ish overalls on, and suddenly the whole space started to reverberate again, which was almost vomit-worthy with how bad it felt for both Adam and Mira. Randomly, two bowls appeared right next to them, one with water, one with food, and the second woman walks over, giving both to the monster. It was like those woman were the monsters servants, or caregivers. The second woman patted his head, and told him to eat up in an annoyingly cheery voice. Itâs like they were deliberately ignoring Adam and Mira huddled up in the tiny room.
The monster started to happily guzzle down his food and then his water in both bowls. He then stares at Adam and Mira, hungrily. Both of the servants started to stare too. I donât exactly remember what happens in this part, but I can guess that the monster wanted to eat both of them too now. They had to escape, and after Adam desperately trying to push the monster away, (the women being out of sight now ??) both he and Mira run outside back to the room they were in before, and also where the hallway would start for them too, looking forward. The monster also stepped out, looking huffy and puffy. It didnât bother to get after them, and it disappeared. Adam and Mira were now sitting on the floor, again, questioning everything. They donât have their powers, and Adam lost his ability to teleport by snapping his fingers, and overall the atmosphere was becoming genuinely unbearable. Itâs like it was deliberately trying to make both of them as nauseous, dizzy, and depressed as possible. Which WORKED. Mira started to tear up. With how long they were in this weird place, she was lowkey going insane. Adam comforted her, but he was obviously feeling super uneasy as well. He was holding back the urge to cry, too.
Mira says she knows that sheâs probably being sensitive right now, but she feels like something is seriously wrong now, and how they shouldnât be here like what Adam said earlier. Adam replies saying something along the lines of this:
âMaybe, youâre right..But, I have a sneaking suspicion that what weâre in is just..a result of what the original Hollow Games we played were. Like, after it glitched out. Everything feels so familiar, the characters just nowâŠhell, even this place itself.â
And Adam wasnât wrong, I think what the dream was definitely just The Hollow getting remembered in this weird backrooms-looking reality. The game itself, our normal reality, and then the backrooms reality all meshed together. Unfortunately, after Mira continues to sob on Adamâs shoulder, thatâs when I woke up. A weird cliffhanger, I know. But I thought this was fun to share :)
