Sora looks at the other Sora, raising an eyebrow as he looks at the condition he's in.
".. Looks like I'm not the only one who's been through some shit." He says, smirking a bit, his vampire fangs peeking from between his lips. His little black wings flap a bit, useless for flight.
".. Though I'm guessing your Riku and Kairi are still alive, yeah?"
-- @edgar-allen-poe-keyblade
*Sora sticks one hand into his pocket — the one with missing fingers — and the other rubs the back of his head as he gives a soft grin. He looks over the other, but doesn’t comment on his looks.
Yeah. They’re..
*He hesitates, remembering that he hasn’t seen Kairi in a while. But, he’d know if she got hurt.
They’re okay.
*He really should go find Kairi again. Apologize to her for leaving her behind again, explain-
*….Explain what? That he was an idiot and got his Keyblade broken?
*He shakes his head to clear the thought, giving another smile. He’s trying, now, and even if he’s faced with a different version of himself, he’ll try to keep the mask away.
*If any of what burned his face got into his mouth — which it looks like it did — and he’d swallowed it, then by all means his voice should be ruined. But, alas, he’s talking just fine.
He grins, putting both his hands behind his head, his scarred wrists peeking out from his gloves.
"Hey, that's better than nothing, yeah?" Sora says, circling the other, mentally noting their differences. He whistles a small tune as he does so.
"So. Mind sharin' your story? Or are ya a bit too.. scarred to?" He says, laughing as if he had actually made a good joke.
I guess so.
*Sora smiles again, noticing your scarred wrists but not commenting on them again. He laughs softly at the joke.
Only if you do too.
I dunno; both a lot and only a little to share, if that makes sense?
*He keeps his hand in his pocket. He’s not exactly eager to share what happened there, even if he doesn’t quite remember how he lost one of two missing fingers.
Roxas has a girlfriend. Ven’s back at home with Aqua. Xion doesn’t have a body yet, still working on that, and haven’t heard about Terra. You?
He let's out a small laugh "Yeah. I get that. Makes perfect sense."
He nods as he listens to what's happening the other him's universe.
".. I failed saving Kairi and Riku from.. what happened after Destiny Islands god destroyed.. and eventually had to kill them. With something other than fighting with my keyblade." He says, looking down to the dagger on his belt.
"Pasts the past." Sora says with a shrug. ".. plus. Knife does better getting rid of problems permanently now that I know it can, y'know?" He says with a laugh.
"Oh and I got bit by a vampire. But that's not important. Just gives me an excuse to stay in Halloween Town."
…..Oh.
*His voice is soft.
Do you wanna see my Riku and Kairi sometime?
I found a weird world where time travel is nowhere near as serious, and also so common that so many people with the same name have found each other and they’ve all started going by other names. Shared my light with a man called Sky, so now we’re connected like Ven and I. Got kind of possessed? But not like Xehanort did it? By a god named Demise. Who also shattered the Kingdom Key, and eventually took my finger after I refused to tell him about other worlds.
Uh.. Oh, and I got my memories fixed! Also kinda. Amplified my emotions, but that’s- I can handle that, y’know? For a while I couldn’t talk that well, then Rox’s girlfriend healed me and now I can talk fine. Oh, I think I got adopted? So did Rox and Ven, but they like it more than me. I don’t dislike Ruhi, it’s just, I still have my mom and I don’t..Think I want another parent?
Oh, I also apparently pretty recently was in some kind of cursed sleep. Which Sky, Ven, Cheer, and Riku all had to come wake me up. And Reve, who’s another version of me. Oh! Vanitas is missing. Which isn’t good.
That’s all been in- oh, geez, has it really only been a few months?
Oh yeah, and Ven is apparently blind now. Happened when he got his body back, but we’re still not entirely sure how. Makes Aqua baby him more than usual, and he absolutely hates that.
He just stares... all of that going in one ear and right out the other.
".. I can carve pumpkins now." He says.. as if that's actually helpful.
*Sora blinks, but breaks into a grin. He laughs as he speaks.
Yeah, that is kinda a lot, isn’t it?
*He was kind of hoping another version of him would understand him better, but, oh well.
You made any cool pumpkins yet?
He nods, grinning, his wings fluttering.
"Yeah! I made one of Donald, and The King, and Goofy and.. and Riku and Kairi.." he goes quiet, having unfortunately reminded himself of happier times. He shakes it off, sighing.
".. I could teach ya sometime. It's really easy once you get the hang of it."
Sure! I’d like that.
*He deserves to do the fun, happy kind of stuff.
My offer for you to talk to my Riku and Kairi does still stand, but if you don’t wanna then that’s fine too!
*Maybe he’ll test out his art skills and try to make one of his own of Riku. Or of Sky! Or, well, anyone he’s met.
He thinks for a bit, smiling slightly.
".. Yeah. I'll take you up on that some time. Be nice to see at least a version of them where you all are reunited." He says, grinning. His little wings flap a bit, a way of his emotions peeking out from more than just his voice and face.
I, um… A-admittedly, I haven’t seen Kairi in a while, she’s probably looking for me, but-.. I dunno. I saw Riku not too long ago, though!
*He smiles as well, wondering if he should tell the other him that he and his Riku are dating now.
*Kairi Is on the beach at home, doing something, maybe collecting shells, maybe training*
*and then a portal opens under her feet, and she's thrown into a collapsible castle.*
*the magic of the portal is not dark, but laced with desperation*
@sparrowthelink
*Kairi had been practicing what Twig taught her, at least the best she could. She cries out in surprise when she falls, landing on her arm with a grunt. It doesn’t feel broken, though it does hurt. She gets to her feet, and—
*Something is wrong. She can feel it so intrinsically.
*She rushes out of the room she’s in, following where the light guides her.
*the entire building shakes as she comes to a set of stares, you hear the clatter of metal as a man runs past*
*looking around, it seems like he dropped a sword. Sealing magic coats it, but it struggles, desperate and afraid like a cornered animal*
*part of the ceiling falls, blocking the way back*
*She cries out in surprise when the ceiling falls behind her. Regardless, she hurries over and picks up the sword, the light that protects her wants to break the seal. She spends some effort fighting that off, but she doesn’t try too hard.
*Regardless, she keeps moving, heading toward the source of all of this.
*when Kairi makes contact with the sword, she hears a quiet, distorted voice*
"don't- hurt... can't control...it.."
*making it up the stairs, you find a door leading to a large room, a strange black substance, with flickering white covers the walls and parts of the floor, your light pulls away from it, almost fearful. You shouldn't touch it*
*She flinches in surprise, startled by the voice.
“I..Wasn’t planning to hurt anyone.”
*That’s good to know, at least.
*She stops at the entrance to the room, staring inside.
“What’s…happening here?”
"hurt...scared....lost control...hurts...to use....he could... die"
*it sounds so scared...*
"help him, please"
*inside the room, the substance covers the floor, looks like a game of the floor in lava for you. At the other end of the room, barely visible curled up and covered in the strange substance is...a boy. A child no older than 12.*
*his eyes are blurry and unfocused as tears leak from them. He's the source of this, but he has no control over it*
“Okay. Um. What would Sora do? He would, he’d…”
*She focuses her light, trying to overpower the seals on the sword.
*She looks at the substance, poking it lightly with her Keyblade, trying to see what it does.
*the seals fall away easily, and then the sword shifts, and a man is standing next to you, stretching*
"much better. I wouldn't touch that, even with your blade. It eats away at metal and drains energy."
*he's not lying, even touching it with your blade, you feel tired*
*it's raining outside, the rain is blood red.*
"the kids name is Link, but he prefers Sparrow. He can't control his magic, usually I can calm him before it gets this bad, but the idiot queen sealed me away. His magic is sealed away, pushing past the seals like this could kill him. We need to be fast."
*the man talks fast, scanning the area for a way to get to Link*
"we can use the tables to cross."
*another woman lays in the substance, unconscious. You'd guess that's the queen then.*
*She dismisses the Keyblade, pulling her hand back. The light she holds doesn’t like this.
*She jumps at the appearance of the man, startled, but decides against questioning it.
“R-right.”
*Theres no way she can do this. She doesn’t know why she was brought here, but they should’ve found Sora. He’d have a much better time.
“What if I fall?”
*She shifts, trying to get the confidence to *jump*. Sparrow could die, it’s no time to be selfish.
"then get out quickly, before it can drain you. It won't kill you, this is Sparrow we're talking about. He can barely even get himself to kill monsters"
*Ghirahim jumps first, landing easily. And holding a hand out*
"it's not that far, I know it's a bit scary, but we don't have time. Hylia wouldn't have opened that portal if we didn't need your help. And that means you can do this."
“Right. Yeah.”
*She takes a breath, then plasters Sora’s normal grin on her face and jumps onto the table with Ghirahim.
*And if she can do one, she can do the rest of them. So she keeps going, trying to keep the light inside her heart at bay, she can tell it’ll just make things worse.
“What- what do I do when I get to him?”
*She finally notices the woman.
“Is she gonna be okay?”
*he nods once you hop onto the table, going first to find a good path*
"we need to calm him down...and if that fails...knock him out....then we need to heal him, those seals hurt him a lot when he pushes past them, his arms are probably broken"
*He glares at the woman on the ground, pure disgust In his expression*
"she's getting exactly what she deserves. She won't die."
“Right!”
*She follows him, losing her balance once or twice. Something swirls in her stomach, she doesn’t like the way he hates her. She doesn’t know why she’s trusting him, either.
“Do I break the seals, then? After he’s calm?”
*Kairi Is on the beach at home, doing something, maybe collecting shells, maybe training*
*and then a portal opens under her feet, and she's thrown into a collapsible castle.*

Hi! Hello! You feel like Loft Loft Sky!
- @def-not-the-daughter-of-a-legend
*They both know she’s been following them, but they’re easily able to tell who she is, so it doesn’t worry them. They ended up sparring, though it quickly turned into them messing around.
“Loft Loft Sky?”
*She hears them talk in the same language as her, but Sora only smiles.
Yeah! I’m connected to him. How do you feel, Tori?
*Sora has a calm smile, while Riku looks amused at the nickname for Sky.
Yeah! Loft Loft Sky!
*She's still too young to realize mortals shouldn't be able to speak this language with her in any form, all of forty-eight hours old.*
You are? Woah!
Wait how do you know my name?
*Riku chuckles, shaking his head fondly.
We knew you before you became a god! Goddess?
*Sora grins, one hand reaching into his pocket slowly. Riku doesn’t notice.
Goddess I think? Maybe?
*She notices Sora put his hand in his pocket and trills softly — curious but unsure how to ask.*
Knew me?
*Her magic examines you, trying to figure out who you are. Oh!*
Oh! Hi! I know you! You're Coronet and Bat Boy!
*She giggles as she watches the interaction. You two are... something else. Very cute.*
Coronet is... uh.... hang on...
*She makes a Coronet shape out of her magic, showing a type of crown.*
That! That's a Coronet!
“Oh hoh~”
Riku- don’t you dare-
*Riku gently picks up the necklace pendant that Sora still wears, showing it to both Sora and Tori.
“Like this, kinda! Y’know, when we were young, Sora-“
*And then Sora purposely starts falling backward. Riku manages to get out of the way thanks to his wings, but he scowls at Sora, who’s again laughing.
“You brat!”
You’re the one that was on my back!
*This is nice. He likes it, after being so worried about Sky. The laughter, talking to Tori. …Even if the language she’s talking in makes his head hurt.
*She just giggles again, watching ypu two is nice she likes that you're happy. She's not really sure what exactly you are to eachother. Wives maybe? Like Traveler was telling her about? Loving someone forever sounds nice.*
You guys are silly. No wonder loft loft Sky likes you!
I like your necklaces though. Very shiny!
*Their connection runs deep, the fluttering wings and stars in Riku’s eyes show off that much.
“Y’know, I’m the one that gave it to him~ Way back when we were five years old!”
Uh, no!
“Yeah yeah, I was five and you were still four~ still counts though!”
Don’t make me throw more glitter at you!
*Riku laughs.
Thank you, Tori. Oh- I feel like I should ask, is there anything else you’ve been going by?

*Future Sora and Riku find themselves being followed by an orange cloud of magic that isn't particularly sneaky but it trying very hard. The cloud has been following them for hours when she finally stops trying to hide behind small cups and such.*
*She speaks the language of the gods but that isn't exactly a problem for you.*
Hi!

*Sora has a calm smile, while Riku looks amused at the nickname for Sky.
*She recognizes you immediately, gasping softly, hiding behind a nearby tree before you see her. Naminé peeks out from behind it, taking a moment to make sure you’re Uranium and not Green. When she’s certain, she hides again, pulling out her sketchbook and drawing.
*After a moment, you realize there’s a new memory in your head. It’s of you and your daughter Naminé, going to the orchard to pick some apples.
*Naminé herself is still hiding, waiting to see how you react.
@keyblade-wielder-sora
*Uranium is minding his own business for once when he notices the memory. What is that doing there? The memory almost matches the fake memory he gave Tori — he has no second daughters?! What the hell?!*
*He looks around, searching for the source of the memory. This isn't his. He isn't supposed to have new memories of strangers!*
Show yourself!
*She tenses, working her powers quickly and chaining together more memories. About five, she hopes, should be enough to get you care for her enough. One of her drawing, one of everyone sitting down to eat, one of you putting her to bed, and even one of her having a breakdown. She thinks that one is pretty good.
*Then, she starts to run.
*Naminé has never been very fast, having never needed to be, as Kairi was never that athletic. Sure, she’d done volleyball and baseball, but both of those were sprinting more than running.
*So while Naminé can sprint, she can’t truly run, not to mention how she’s worse off than Kairi is, given that she hasn’t practiced at all.
*She really hopes you won’t hurt her. She did want a parent.
What in the fuck?
*He goes still — sorting through the new memories. Endearing almost, to see Naminé in them with his little pet and his little monster. Disturbing to have new memories... is this karma? No karma isn't real... poetic maybe...*
Alright why do you want me to think I have another kid? Huh?
*Naminé ends up tripping over a branch with a startled yelp, but upon realizing you’re not chasing her, she heads back in your direction. She peers out from behind the tree again, hesitating.
“U-um..I..”
*Oh god, why can’t she seem to speak? She doesn’t understand why it feels like her chest is pounding. Is she scared?
*She hugs her sketchbook close, failing to realize some mud got on the open page when she fell. Now you can see her, even if not much.
*He watches you, examining your threads and wondering who and what you are. Namimé, he recognizes. He is not stupid.*
*Affection swells against his better judgement. You did this to him. How manipulative. How adorable! Oh it would have been a dream to actually raise you and Tori as his little monsters with his sweet little pet as your other parents you're certainly endearing, so desperate for attention you'll resort to lies.*
Hello, Naminé. I suppose you're behind the memories? How did you even find out about them? Hm?
*She relaxes somewhat, stepping out from behind the tree. She’s thin, just like in your memories.
“Mhm. I, uh, Tori let me see them.”
*It isn’t a lie. She just doesn’t want Tori to get in trouble, and lying is easier after Castle Oblivion, despite being less instinctive than it is for some thanks to Kairi.
*He watches you, tracking your movements and finding himself surprised at the accuracy of the fake memories.*
Did she? And what did you see exactly?
“All of it. Not just what you added, she let me go through all of her memories. She really trusted me, which was, weird.”
*She isn’t used to people like Tori.
“I mean, it was kinda confusing, but also kinda cool, y’know? Oh, I wanted to ask about thread magic. It seemed cool, but I’ve only ever used my magic on stuff.”
*She flips through the corners of the pages in her sketchbook — an idle fidget, one even in your memories. She’s good. She knows herself, and she knows you.
“People aren’t hard to understand, when you get inside their heads.”
She is rather trusting of people, it's very sweet.
*Very exploitable too but oh well. He prefers that.*
*He watches her fidget and he still can't decide if he's livid with her tampering or endeared by it. The memories make him feel positively though... hm... perhaps a daughter that chose him would be nice.*
People are little more than dolls with emotion at the reigns.
You want to learn about thread magic? What do you know of it?
“Well, I- I know what you explained to Tori in that memory you gave her, and I know how you’ve used it to hurt her. I just- it didn’t make sense to me, the way you explained it to her?”
*You notice she’s still giving you more memories, and as she flips the page in her sketchbook — she’s been drawing them, as she gives them to you.
“A-and, um, not to be rude. But you didn’t seem very good at giving her memories.”
*She doesn’t mean the quality or believability of the memories, she means something else — something she doesn’t appear to realize you don’t know.

*It wasn't too long after she got home from visiting Sky that she went for her Gummiphone. Wanting to have an answer for Sky when she returns later, she scrolls through her contacts until she finds Ven's number. She taps it, walking around the house as she lets it ring.*
~ Future @heroineofthewild
*The phone is answered, and the first thing you see….
*Is Vanitas using the camera to pick his teeth.
“Wh’s up?”
*Twig rolls her eyes at Vanitas.*
'Ey kid, give the phone to Ven. I have a question for him.
“I’m not a kid. What’s your question?”
*He pulls the phone away from his face, and you realizes he’s got his head hanging off the chair. There are sounds of fighting close by, probably sparring.
None of your business at the moment, just give the phone to Ven.
*Her ears twitch at the sound of sparring in the background. Ugh, what she wouldn't do to be able to spar right now, she really need to let off some steam.*
“Nah! Not until you tell me what’s up~”
*He gives a grin, his teeth still naturally pointed. He’s not gonna give it up, you know this.
You little shit...
*She's quickly losing her patience, which isn't new when it comes to talking to Vani, but hormones don't make her any more patient with him.*
I'm calling to talk to Ven about getting his eyesight back, so put him on the phone.
*That makes him pause. There’s shuffling for a moment as he sits up, and his voice is quieter.
“What do you mean, ‘getting his eyesight back’? This better not be some kind of trick.”
*He looks back down at the phone, brow furrowed.
I wouldn't call to pull a cruel prank on Ven. I'm being completely serious, Vani.
*Her expression is serious. She isn't going through the risk of losing everyone's trust just to do something cruel.*
Put Ven on the phone.
*He scoffs, but gets up and sets the phone down. The sparring sounds don’t stop, even when Vanitas picks up the phone again.
Van- hey- where are we going?? Will you stop dragging me??
“Shut up and walk, Princeton.”
Vani!
*Vanitas takes Ven to a different room, making sure the man doesn’t trip and fall of course, then hands him the phone.
“Twig wants to talk to you.”
You could've been nicer to the guy.
*She rolls her eyes.*
Hey Ven, how are you doing today?
I’m okay, how’ve you been? Why’re you calling?
*Ven knows it has to be important for Vanitas to drag him to a separate room.
Did something else happen with Sky? Is he okay? Sora explained why he’d gotten so angry, but..
Stressed, but getting better.
*She laughs a little.*
No, no. Sky's fine, I actually just got home from visiting him. He's recovering just fine. He's awake and lucid and all that, at most he just needs support to walk and get out of bed.
I didn't see Sora or Riku. They're there, but we didn't speak. But yeah, I heard what happened with Sora.
*She takes a breath.*
As for why I'm calling... If you want...I wish to restore your sight.
That’s good to hear! I was worried, heh.
*His easy mood drops instantly at her statement. He doesn’t reply, a mix of shocked and waiting for her to explain.
*Ah fuck, he went quiet. So much for reducing stress...*
I...know that thread magic is the reason you lost your sight... I've...known this for years...
I didn't...know how I could possibly fix it, because it wasn't fair to you to just suddenly lose your sight, but I think I know how to fix it now. I mean, it took twenty years to figure it out, but...better late than never.
How? How could you fix it, Twig?
*His tone isn’t accusational, but there’s something to it regardless. He’s not sure if he wants to believe her. Not sure if…He wants it.
Can you prove it?
Same way I got rid of my ears and tail all those years ago. Same way I fixed my own eyesight earlier today... With healing...and thread magic...
*She takes a breath.*
I'm...sure that's the last thing you want to hear, and if you don't believe me, I don't blame you.
*His grip on the phone tightens just a little more.
I- I can’t just trust you, Twig, not with this. I need you to prove it to me. Fix something I can’t ignore.
…..Who else knows you know thread magic? That’s a real dangerous game you’re playing.
*Vanitas, wisely, keeps his mouth shut about the fact that he’s known.
Well, what do you suggest?
Sky and Sun know. Sky's...not happy about it, but there's not much I can do about that. I'm currently the only person who has no issues when it comes to the use of thread magic for the most part.
*She clears her throat, glancing away.*
And technically, Vani has known for years.
I’m…I don’t know, something with Vani?
Twig, that’s not….
…..He’s what now?
*Ven glared at Vanitas, who stiffens.
“Hey, she hasn’t done anything bad with it so I didn’t see a need to say anything!”
That’s not-
“Yes it is! Every other time people use it they go crazy and do a bunch of bad crap, so I kept an eye on her and made sure she didn’t!”
*Ven stares blankly at him.
“…I immediately got distracted by the thought of thread magic and wanted to find someone to teach it to me. And that’s when I met the stupid guy. And then I tried to make Twig out me back to normal but she always said no.”
Vani…
*Ven sounds so done with him.
*She rolls her eyes.*
After what happened with Uranium, I wasn't going to use thread magic again. I already had a policy to not use it on anyone so there wasn't any way Vani was going to convince me to fix him.
Regarding proving it to you... I'd have to talk to Sky about it, because he wants to be present, at least for me to restore your vision. I can text him or wait until later because I'll be going and visiting him again with Fyn.
Also, the negative effects that happen with others? My natural magic blocks it.
What specifically with Vani? How...are you going to know it worked?
I don’t know. I.. Yeah, I’m fine with waiting, just-..
*He’s at a loss for words.
“He’ll know by how I react, duh. He can feel my heart, ‘member? Unfortunately I got one of those now; and he can feel it.”
*Vanitas turns the phone toward him as he starts to speak.
“I’d like to request either my leg or the connection we used to have.”
*Ven is still so surprised by this revelation that Vanitas can tell he should take over talking about it.
Ah-
*She rubs her face.*
Right, sorry. Brain fog has been hitting me hard lately. And I'm not too surprised to hear that, if a Nobody can have a heart, don't see why you couldn't.
Fixing your leg should be easy enough, but I'd have to take a closer look for the other thing.
“Cool. When are you gonna go talk to Sky? Ven’s got a thing planned tomorrow-“
I do?
“-yes you do. But after that he’s free.
Probably when I see him later today. I'll text you. Keep in mind that Sky's still recovering, I don't want to push him, as much as we'd all like to get this done.
“Cool, that’s fine. Like I said, Ven’s got a thing tomorrow, so we’re fine to wait.”
*Not to mention that Ven has to think about what he really wants, if this works.
“So, talk to you then, then?”
*Riku dives toward Sky, wrapping his arms around the man and using his wings to try and fly. They almost seem to be getting pulled down by something..
*And then —
*Something wraps around Riku’s waist, yanks him too fast to the side, and at the same time something speeds up from below — it goes between Sky and Riku, puncturing Sky’s sailcloth.
*It only grows bigger, the hole growing, and by the time Sky is falling away from it, the sailcloth has been ripped almost in half — starting from the center of Zelda’s design.
@keyblade-wielder-sora
*I feel Riku grab me.*
Riku! Any... ideas what this is?!
*I feel him get pulled away harshly and I reach out to the side.*
No!
Shit shit shit!
*my eyes widen as I see the damage. Tears sting the edges of my eyes as I hold it close to me.*
*Theres no time... for... you could die...*
*I scramble. Twisting and turning to get whats left of the sailcloth onto my back. Its no use to me now. As I brace myself. A broken leg is better than a broken neck...*
*You land harshly, winded, but you take note of yourself and realize you’re not injured. You hear a surprised yelp from somewhere close by — a girl’s voice. When you look around, everything around you is black. You can’t see — or rather, there’s nothing for you to see.
*The winding hurts a little as I lay on the ground for a minute. Trying to figure out if I am injured.*
*I test everything. And find nothing. As I roll onto my back. Shuffling my keyblade back to my hand.*
*I knock a hand on the ground. To see if its a similar situation to last time I was trapped in a dark place like this. To see if I get any reaction from the floor below.*
*I place my keyblade into the ground. And use it to stand up. Holding my chest as I slowly get my breath back.*
Where... am I...
*My ears perk up at the sound and my keyblade shifts in my hand. Im ready to defend myself.*
*The ground is solid, though you don’t recognize what it’s made of by sound alone. You see a figure dressed in black nearby, on the ground, a coat like Roxas’s covering their entire body. Their back is to you, as they start to get up with a groan. You blink, and then you recognize Sora’s brown hair on the figure.
*I look at you. Worried. Before giving a hum. I clock the hair. And move towards you.*
Sora? Where... where did we end up? Do you know?
*He looks over, and something in his expression changed when you call him Sora.
“Hey, Sky.”
That is not Sora’s voice.
“I’m not Sora.”
*He won’t look at you, but instead looks around.
*I look at you. Now confused.*
I dont... understand.
*You look like sora... but are not sora.*
Who... who are you then? Have we... met?
“I’m Xion. Rox’s friend. We have met, but you wouldn’t remember it. What’s going on? Is something happening to Sora?”
Wouldnt remember it? You make it sound like it was deliberate. For what its worth Im sorry I cant right now. I'm sure it will come back to me.
*I look around.*
Yeah. Hes been cursed somehow. I said something and he just. Dropped asleep. Me, riku, ven and cheer came into his dreams to try to find him and get him out.
I managed to find everyone but... the ground shattered. I was. Seperated. Riku tried to catch me but something pulled us apart. And...
*My eyes widen. And I grab at my sailcloth.*
Oh...
“Call it a part of being me. You’ll remember me after this, though, which I’m so happy for.”
“Huh.. Guess that’s why I was yanked from the dreamworld and dropped here.”
*Xion looks over at your sailcloth.
“Don’t- worry, about that. It’s just a dream version, the real one is fine.”
*Something moves nearby. You can’t see what it is.
That's great!
Sorry about that? You're not hurt are you?
Are you sure? Its... the damage is pretty bad.
*I shift.*
What was that?
“No, I don’t think so. And yeah I’m sure; I’ve given myself *so* many different haircuts just for it to go back to normal the minute I stop thinking about it. Even if you can’t get it to stay fixed, the real one is perfectly fine.”
“No idea.”
*She summons her Keyblade, but something snatches it from her hand and runs on all fours — like a human doing so, actually.
“Wh- you little bitch, that’s mine!”
*Xion starts chasing the figure, unseen except for how it blocks view of the Kingdom Key.
“Hey, give it back!”
That must be really annoying.
*I watch the shadows. I cant quite get a lock on exactly where it is but i think im close.*
What is that?
*I'm confused. Tilting my head.*
Cant you just summon it back to your hand?
*Xion doesn’t seem to hear you. You feel something pull — yank — on your sailcloth. The minute you summon your Keyblade to defend yourself, there’s hot breath on your hand — the same kind of creature has taken it from you, and it’s running in the opposite direction of Xion. You realize belatedly that it’s holding the handle of your Keyblade in its mouth — and that it is a person, one with bright yellow eyes like a Heartless.
