“Ironhide? I’ve met him, back on Cybertron.” Riella glanced down at the human again, realizing a bit too late that she couldn’t ask such a small organic to keep up with her even at a walk. “Would you like me to carry you? I will be careful, I promise, but it may take less time to find you a place to stay if I don’t need to stop and wait for you.” She crouched and offered a hand, ready for the human to either climb into her hand or up on her shoulder. If she wanted to, of course, some didn’t like it.
She was nothing near an expert on “magic”, or whatever this was, but perhaps they could find someone who was. That, or maybe it would work itself out, and there would be no extra explanation needed.
“Well, maybe it’s still figuring out the reason.” Did magic keys work like that? Riella just hoped she didn’t sound like an utter idiot trying to offer suggestions. “Maybe…it’s got reasons, but it hasn’t told you, or it assumes you’ll figure it out, or something along those lines.”
☙🔑❧ || So he was around! Just...not on this ship, it appeared. Oh well. She was glad to know he had at least found a way back home, since it seemed now it was inhabitable again. Had the war really resolved itself that fast? Or was something else going on around here?
Kaiya tried her best to keep pace with Riella, but it was soon clear she would be out of breath before they got anywhere close to finding her a place to stay. She was a little hesitant to have Riella carry her-- they had only just met, after all-- but with little other choice, Kaiya nodded and climbed into her servo, wary of the grooves in Riella’s palm. The last thing she wanted was to get pinched in something like that.
At the same time, though, it was fascinating. Riella’s servo was designed to fold in a way very similar to her own hands. The technology on Rulia had been designed differently. She wasn’t used to such intricate details, especially in metal of all things.
Riella’s words brought her attention back to the conversation. Better that she not get caught staring at a robot’s hand. That would lead to some awkward questions.
“Maybe...” Kaiya hummed. She still wasn’t sure about it all. Nothing significant had ever happened with her other encounters. Maybe the Keyblade just wanted her to make friends? It certainly had a strange way of going about it if that was the case.
She was silent for a moment, pondering, before asking: “So...if you guys aren’t looking for other energy sources, what are you doing out here?”
