The transformation of my MAWS Batman. Bruce pulls out a custom Wayne-tech phone and enters the code D-C-2-7. This summons the Utility Belt to him. Bruce inserts the phone into the buckle, which closes over it in a way that forms the classic Bat-Emblem. The chambers of the belt open, unleashing a swarm of nanotech bats that form his costume. These will also form different gadgets at his command.

My take on a MAWS version of Batman. Inspo to the right.

Bruce Wayne I envision as based mainly on the Patterson version, visually. I also gave him the hunched posture and a bit of the demeanor of L from Death Note. I just thought that was a fun image; billionaire Bruce Wayne who is always at the party, but looks five minutes away from toppling over. It's all an act, of course.

For Batman, meanwhile, I leaned heavily on the Japanese influence MAWS is built on. Elements of 90's Gatchaman and Hurricane Polymar go into the suit design, with a subtle Adam West influence in the helmet and a splash of Kamen Rider Knight with both the faceplate and the belt. I see him using the Utility belt to transform into his suit, even copying Knight's Henshin Pose. When suited, he deepens his voice and stands totally upright, looking taller and stronger. It's a Christopher Reeve's Superman kind of shift.
