I finished Reload very recently and Well… okay I don’t want to sound like those annoying fans but I am a FES truther at heart, I am sorry….. there were a lot of changes I didn’t like (specifically cutscenes) but then some changes I did enjoy. I really liked the new Ryoji additions a lot and the Junpei Linked Episode. To my disappointment, Takaya’s Linked Episode was… nothingburger. I was really hoping for more but it just. Was there? If that makes sense. I had fun seeing him randomly show up, but I wish they did more. Or something different. I don’t know. It just felt off.

I’m also forever sad they removed Jin kicking the door at the shelter. Sigh.

But it’s okay. It was worth playing to go crazy over Strega again.

Well.. can you tell I’m excited for P4R?

Translated this for all the Strega fans out there! I mentioned this before, but Strega generally have a lot of chapters in P3 anthologies, and I plan on translating them in the future. Stay tuned! Hope you liked this chapter!

Playing through Reload is definitely… Something. But I am almost in December now and I’m joyous to get to 1/31. I know some lines are changed with Strega, so I’m curious and intrigued to see it. I’m planning on picking up P4AU afterwards because I never finished it in 2023. Lets just say, I know I will be crazy about Sho, so expect him to hang out with my Strega cats in the near future… Rubs my hands together really happily.

My thoughts are really jumbled but I am having fun nonetheless and I may sound nonsensical for the rest of this but it’s okay. I’m not the type of person to write a lot (I die if I sit at my desk too long) but I’ve written some things of Strega and it’s really fun to me. Strega is that good. It’s made me realize that in all the Persona games, the antagonists usually always end up my favorites.. Oops. But it’s not a bad thing. Strega has genuinely such an interesting backstory to build off of/indulge in. Even though there’s not a lot there, they have had the biggest takeaway of Persona 3 as a whole for me (well, and Ryoji, but this isn’t about him right now so Shhh) (but it might be about him later… I have Ryomina and Takajin parallels going on in my mind so bad) I enjoy it a lot. I’ve also been thinking of Strega between escaping the labs<-before the events of P3 a lot. I grow tempted to draw it sometimes… And then Chidori and Jin siblingism of course. Many such cases of me getting stupid tiktoks and going Oh that is Them. Many such fun thoughts in my mind.

I will say, playing P3R though makes me remember how annoyed I get at P3’s underutilization of them. But my craziness won’t be stopped, so ATLUS will have to get through me. I’m very tempted to play P3P just to see all their scenes again but I must resist…

When I really like something, I love making crossovers/AUs of it. Many SMT1 AUs of Strega circling my mind. I’m seeing too many parallels of them in everything. My memory of FF7 is very bad but I’ve been thinking of Strega in the universe there too, especially with similar situations. Strega in the universe of Cell of Empireo… The Hajiutsugisms of Takajin. Yup. I’m doing great. Doesn’t P4G reference Strega with Teddie? Well guys.. TIME FOR YOUR DEBUT IN P4R!!!!!!!!!!!
