This time last year I was not in a good place in my life. I was feeling so different emotions at once... and one of them was insecure. I hated looking at myself in the mirror. I felt fat and ugly and the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to eat and then I would feel disappointed.

I’ve learned many lessons this past year. One of them being that no matter what the scale says, confidence is key to feeling and looking good.

I weigh the same I did last year (...maybe a little more, honestly. New York has great food and I’ve been getting fed) but I hold my weight differently now. I have fallen in love with myself again and it shows. I walk differently, I stand differently and it shows.
