My father was martyred in the war 💔, and since then life has become much heavier… Despite everything, I worked hard and graduated high school with a 93% average 🎓, still holding on to my dream of continuing my education.

I was able to enroll at the University College of Applied Sciences and complete my first semester, but I couldn’t continue due to accumulated fees I cannot afford.

We are a family of seven 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. Our home was completely destroyed 🏚️, and now we live in a worn-out tent by the sea 🌊, struggling every day just to survive.

My younger brothers, Adam and Ahmed 👦👦, are orphans growing up in hardship, and my sister Arwa was unable to start high school because we cannot afford the fees 📚.

My mother is doing everything she can 🤍, but the burden has become too much.

I am asking for a chance… to continue my education, to help my sister return to school, and to give my brothers a more stable life 🌱

This is reality for Fatima Abo Warda and her family.

Fatima is a displaced mother of two, now seeking refuge in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, after fleeing the destruction in Gaza. Her husband, Akram, was critically injured during the Mawasi massacre. His intestines were cut and his leg shattered, leaving him bedridden and unable to provide for their family.

Now, Fatima is doing everything in her power to care for her children alone. Their home is a fragile tent that offers little protection against the cold and rain. Her newborn, born amid war, suffers from exposure, hunger, and lack of proper care, directly caused by the inhumane conditions that Palestinians in Gaza are forced to live under.

"We have no food, no milk for my baby, no diapers, and no hope," Fatima writes.

Some nights, they go to sleep with nothing. The conditions are so dire that even $100 could mean the difference between life and death for Akram, who urgently needs medical care.

Fatima is asking for help to buy a better tent, food, and basic supplies to keep her children alive. Every donation, no matter how small, could bring them a shred of warmth, a glimmer of hope, or even save a life.
