Megan is super stressed with stuff and when she meets yoonchae for the first time she lashes out on her and yoonchae thinks Megan hates her (yeah this is about the meichae beef) but falls in love in the iconic rain scene where yoonchae gives her her umbrella. She really likes how yoonchae is super shy, tall, handsome, and smart. Literally the perfect crush. Yoonchae thinks Megan's cute and super funny, she really likes her company but since she thought Megan hated her and didn't get to spend much time with her at first she fell in love with ladybug first and when her and Megan became pals she thought of her as just a friend (since she was already in love with "another person").

Megan would really fit her "dual cherry" and duality concept here cause as ladybug she would be super awkward and anxious and funny and quirky, but as ladybug she would be confident and assertive, someone who you can't take your eyes off. Yoonchae loves how amazing she is and is absolutely whipped (she also makes heart eyes at Megan, just doesn't realize it yet). Yoonchae as chat noir (kitty noir?) would be super sassy and flirty, always teasing ladybug but also being the first to jump before an attack to protect her and following her orders; she would absolutely love seeing the way ladybug locks in and starts to think about what to do next; she would follow her to hell if she asked (and even if she didn't ask). She would also get hella mad if she saw someone talk shit about ladybug, getting all protective and pissed. Megan would find kitty noir's humor funny and would always try not to laugh at her jokes (as time passes by it gets progressively harder until she can't hold it back anymore). She thinks kitty noir is joking when she flirts with her so she doesn't think about it too much, and she's also too infatuated with yoonchae to even consider someone else.

As for the others Kats Lara would be alya, Megan's best friend who's obsessed with ladybug and also tries to help Megan confess her feelings for Yoonchae. She would be her ride or die and the first person Megan ever tells someone about her identity. Sophia would be Nino, yoonchae's best friend who helps her have fun and sneak out of her parents house. She would really like music and would come from a rich family but be super low-key about, but it regardlessly helps Yoonchae's parents approve more of their friendship. Ok even tho solarz are Nino and alya, they don't necessarily need to be a couple (unless the public want to lol I'm down for anything). Dani would be Chloe, but not in the bully mean girl aspect. Just having a known family and stuff. But she would actually be super sweet and nice to everyone, being super friends with Megan since they take dance classes together and possibly being friends with yoonchae since Adrian and Chloe knew each other? I guess yeah. Manon would be Zoe, Dani's half sister. I think it fits so much since danon has always been saying they are sisters and just have different dads lol. Both Zoe and Manon are really artistic and rebels (and girl kissers). Megan would probably be closer to marz and yoonchae to Sodani, but as the year passes by and they spend more time together it soon becomes ot6. Megan and Dani dancing, Megan and Manon drawing and idk they give me skater boys vibes; Megan and Sophia liking theater, while Sophia and yoonchae would reallyyyy like music and produce stuff together (they would then get closer to Lara because of this), Manon and Lara would be rebels together (in the cartoon Zoe flirts with alya so I think that tracks), and Megan and yoonchae being the cutest duo ever, where everyone knows Megan likes her and yoonchae just like "oh no she's just a friend lol".

Ok so what about miraculous x meichae 👀 Megan as Marinette (both wasians who like fashion) who is like super anxious and helps her mom and her brother in the bakery, and yoonchae as Adrian, rich, shy, quiet, homeschooled, and doesn't know much about social interactions and stuff.

OH INJECT ITTTTTTT This introverted girl letting out her inner freak through cat noir. FUCK! This fits the whole jealousy part of Yoonchae's personality as well. We all know Cat Noir can get a little possessive and pouty when it's not him being chosen. Boy literally got upset when there were other heroes and Ladybug didn't fill him in stuff.

Nah, I think solarz has a special place in my heart. Lara was always finding comfort in Sophia's arms. This would totally make sense for nino and alya's plot where they loved each other too much to keep their identities hidden. They have great trust there.

I LOVE IT WHEN MEGAN IS WITH MARZ AND YOONCHAE WITH SODANI YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW!!!! Also this is so sweet and very faithful to the original mlb series. They just clump together in one big friend group.

CRINEEEE yeah, this makes so much sense. Yoonchae doesn't want to assume because she is sheltered in this AU after all. She doesn't want to risk anything or make Megan uncomfortable or anything.

And look, I'm a big sucker of ladynoir in the original series. But I honestly think the best ship in this would be meichae marichat? It's their truest selves. And imagine anxious little Megan and Yoonchat just teases her a bunch! And she will literally do anything for Megan. She'd take her to the highest of places not knowing she was already Ladybug. I love it when Yoonchae gets a little cocky and braggy.
