Absolutely thrilled to welcome these three women into the shop as commissions are already coming in for next year. In order: @jesslyn_michelle who just completed her three month intensive @woodschoolmaine and will be working full time until she returns to CFC as an assistant. @yungshelly who is working as our dedicated finisher, coming from a restoration shop in Savannah. And @lesliecdrennan who is brave enough to be our full time apprentice and has just tackled her first set of hand cut mortise and tenon joints. Power to the ladies 💪 (at Castleberry Hill)

One week into teaching @woodschoolmaine but that doesn't mean I'm on vacation. Brought three current projects up with me and having the time of my life using the schools shop. In order: re-sawn white oak veneer for dresser doors/drawers that will be bookmatched. Two nightstands to accompany the dresser. And the legs that will go on all three pieces that @hancocksurfacestudio has been pumping out back at the shop. Did I mention I love Maine. (at Center for Furniture Craftsmanship)
