Post Avengers Endgame Speculation

Some of the things that struck me once I had time to process Endgame:

- 2019 Nebula killed 2014 Nebula. So why does 2019 Nebula still exist, didn’t she essentially kill an earlier version of herself therefore also erasing herself from our current timeline?

- At the end of Endgame, when Tony absorbs the stones into his suit and snaps Thanos and his forces out of existence, why doesn’t that erase what happened in Infinity War? Again, he snapped the 2014 version of Thanos, that should nullify all of the events of Infinity War..

- Is Gamora coming back?

- This ties in with the questions above. Did these changes (see 1 and 2) create a different reality? It is possible… When Banner goes to the Sorcerer Supreme and asks her to hand over the Time stone, she tells him that she can’t because it would split her reality, creating another one because one important aspect of their reality was altered or taken away. Here, we’re talking about past versions of characters being killed off in the present timeline. And this wasn’t addressed in the film at all.  

The more I think about it, the more relevant and important it seems. It is possible that they really did unwittingly create a different reality where reality A (the one where Natasha, Gamora, Vision and Loki are dead) exists but another reality branched out because Thanos met a premature death. In that reality, the snap never happened, Gamora is alive and so are Natasha, Vision and Loki.

Or is it like a weird space in between where somethings are different but some stay the same? Honestly, it’s hard to say which route the MCU will take or if they’ll even address this. The only film where they could choose to do so is Guardians 3. The shot of Peter searching for Gamora and quickly setting it aside when Thor comes in, makes me suspect that there is a way open for her to return. It won’t be the Gamora we lost, it’s be a different version of her, someone who hasn’t met Peter and Guardians yet.

So, the way time travel has been addressed in other movies is vastly different than the one portrayed in Endgame. In other movies, what happens in the past effects the future. In Endgame, it just creates an alternate timeline. So, when Nebula killed her past self, 2019 Nebula was still alive because she killed an alternate version of herself. Same when Thanos and his people were snapped. It didn’t erase the events that had taken place but changed another reality. With Loki taking the space stone as well, it created another timeline. It’s like having a tree and each time you go back into the past and change something, it doesn’t tear down the whole tree but creates a branch. Another way the story could go. The Gamora we know and love was killed and is still dead. The Gamora we saw in Endgame is the 2014 alternate version of her.

Now, let’s move to the kids that are not canon and who they are and what their lives are like.

The Last of the Geller Gang:

Jamie—15 years old. Kind of an airhead. Bonds more with Joey than with his dad because he wants to be an actor like Joey.

Bada Bing #3:

Luke—14 years old. Funny as crap and gets on everyone’s nerves (except Chandler’s). Has a crush on Valerie and is best friends with Jamie.

Hannigan Hoard:

Consuela—16 years old. Plays piano and guitar. Loves to read and is really, really smart. Best friends with Erica.

Valerie—14 years old. Very prim and proper like her paternal grandmother. Loves to spend time with her grandma and knows that it annoys her mom when she does.

Kip—13 years old. Complete airhead but the sweetest kid ever.

Ariel—12 years old. Adopted when she was 2 months old by Phoebe and Mike. Beautiful singing voice and thinks it’s funny that her name is Ariel and her (late) aunt is named Ursula. Had to explain the humor to Phoebe.

Foster—10 years old. Started foster care when he was 8 months old with Phoebe and Mike, but wasn’t adopted until he was 8. Hardcore New Yorker and doesn’t take crap from anyone. Loves to get into fights and challenge people. Phoebe and Mike don’t know how to handle him.

Annnnnd now...The Tribbiani Tot.

Hannah Banks—16 years old. Joey’s only (that he knows of) child. Found out who her dad was when she was 8, but didn’t find him until she was 13 thanks to Consuela and Erica. Has just started to come around more. Intelligent thanks to her mom. Plays volleyball and is a hardcore New Yorker.

It’s been a minute. I’ve been rewatching Friends in the hopes of a comeback. In honor of that, I’ve made a casting of their children. Some are canon and some are not, but this is how I would see their lives being right now.

We’ll start off with the kids we already know.

Bada Bingz:

Erica—16 years old. Cooks like her mom but sense of humor of her dad. Loves hockey.

Jack—16 years old. Monica’s mini me. Exactly like her.

Geller Gang:

Ben—25 years old. Graduated from NYU with a degree in archeology. Rocky relationship with his father, Ross.

Emma—18 years old. Great mixture of both mother and father (nerdy but fashionable). Is going to college at Columbia and wants to be a veterinarian one day.

I live in North Carolina and the hurricane panic right now is getting to hysterical levels. People were in line at costco from the door to the highway. I had to wait 40 minutes in line to buy dog food. It took me an hour to get home when normally it takes 20 minutes. People keep buying cases of water and I’m like…have y’all never tried filling up your bath tub and all the containers in your house with tap water? Ahead of time?

Everyone is loosing their shit. I get that this hurricane is going to be bad but every trip in a car is taking 2-3x as long and the smaller towns are already running out of gas.

Yeah. Where I live, gas stations have run out of unleaded gas. The trucks have been brought in to bring in more cases of water. Walmart is a hellhole.

And this is just what I’m hearing cause this girl ain’t been out in it. Hahaha

But majority of my family lives on the coast right where it’s heading and if it keeps the way it’s going, it’ll be coming straight up to me, too. So, yeah. More worried about my family at this point.

I saw 5SOS for the first time tonight.

I can attest for anyone who was like me and thought they weren’t actual, real humans...they are real. They exist.

And I’m just sad. One of the first things I said to my boyfriend after the show was “I just want to be their friend even more now.”

It was freaking amazing and now I understand post-concert depression.

Also...The Aces were legit. My boyfriend LOVED them.
