Logan chuckled at her squeal, pressing small kisses to her shoulder. He stood up straighter as she wrapped herself around him. “That’s right, and I’m not leaving again unless you’re coming with me, alright?” He asked leaning back to look her in the eyes. “You’re gorgeous, did you know that?” He beamed at her before leaning in to kiss her.

Kelani couldn’t help but giggle and grin, an automatic reaction any time she was around Logan, but now she had completely lost her control. Her arms and legs tightening around him, fear that if she was to let go then he would take off again. “You better take me with you or I’m latching onto your legs and forcing you to take me.” She let her legs drop the moment that he leaned back, still keeping her arms locked around him and her toes barely skimming the floor. “Not as gorgeous as you are that’s for sure.” She grinned, pulling herself up that bit more to place her lips to his with a happy hum.

It had taken one text from Logan to have Kelani on her feet and tumbling out of her dorm, not even a single shoe nor sock on her feet. Too focused on getting to him rather than texting back, she hadn’t quite expected him to be so close or even on the move until she had flung herself around a corner and hitting against him at full force.  A high pitched squeal passing her lips on the embrace unable to find her words, her arms quickly lacing around his neck and pulling herself upwards with legs tangling around his frame. “You’re back, you’re here. I missed you. I missed you so, so much.”

“Yes, yes. I can hear you, stop tapping my face. I know you miss me, but phones don’t come with a touch feature just yet.” Kelani teased, laughing to herself with a shake of her head. “Stop whining, you’re the one that left me behind me to go play prince. I miss you, so ... come back? Please? I won’t even tease you about anything if you come back right now.” 

"Completely sure, don’t worry about me. It was just shocking you know, like bam--” Kelani threw out her hands, suddenly becoming much louder. “In yo’ face! It’s cool, though. It probably wouldn’t make a difference I’m covered in so many cuts and bruises, but wait-- by a hair? Now that’s what I call insane, but I do need a hair cut, so maybe I should have hoped you took a lock of it off.” 

“Then that’s even worse. If the whole family has no idea how are you surviving? It must be manic in your house -- then again, that’s coming from the girl with a house run down by aliens. But it does have perks, everyone’s more willing to cuddle when you’re the youngest.” 

“No, no you don’t understand! I don’t want you to come back, I– I… Just leave me alone.”

“Are you sure? I don’t want to leave you alone if you’re not going to be okay.” 

“— Not yet they’re not.”

“Give them a minute, all it takes is the spark of a lie and I’ll be running for the extinguisher.”
