Kel, if you were given the opportunity to bring Mari back in exchange for your own life, would you do it? Do you think anyone would miss you if you did do it or would they forget you were even gone because of how excited they are to have Mari back?

"I probably would. It would almost feel selfish not to. Mari had such a wonderful life in front of her, and so many people cared so deeply about her. I think Mari being back would help distract from the pain, at least at first. When people do realize I'm gone, I think Mari would be able to help them process their grief better than I could. Besides, maybe Mari being back would help the friend group come back together, even if I'm not there!"
