The Laurencia

Just a quick disclaimer: this is a solo project by Sealover Valen, and I’m just a fan who really loves the world they’ve built. Honestly, even putting our friendship aside, the game is just incredibly well-made and fun, which is why I wanted to talk about it here.

​If you like Homestuck, you’ll definitely appreciate this. the dev is a huge fan, so that influence is woven into the game’s DNA. It also reminds me of Undertale in some ways—mostly in the style of humor and the general "feel" of the writing.

​The story follows Locum Laurence, a hero from Deserterium, who travels to meet the gods. There are seven cities in total, and each one has its own distinct concept and personality. the world-building is really solid.

Also, the OST is great. since it’s a solo dev project, they composed all the music themselves, and the tracks are definitely worth a listen. I’m particularly fond of the themes from The City of Lies.

​The game is currently only available in Korean. the dev is hoping to provide an English translation eventually, but they're facing some budget issues at the moment. still, if you happen to speak Korean or just find the art style interesting, i’d highly recommend wishlist the game if you've interested!

​Also, the dev mentioned they are completely open to fan translations if anyone is interested!

My friend’s game is almost finished! The full version will probably be released around February next year!

There’s a demo available, but there isn’t an English version yet... Still, if you know Korean, I hope you’ll give it a try!

This pic is about Negative tale. I know that most of you guys don’t know this AU but for me, its world is so attractive I couldn’t help write a post with it once. (maybe more and more after this :) IDK )

 Of course in this AU, Gaster never show himself; the author said ‘if’ this AU have Gaster, he maybe a creator of Sans and Papyrus, to research with power can be survive in this world-the power of knowledge, and the force- without revealing is existence. 

 No way… I love this kind of character who don’t let people to know who they are perfectly. 

I was got a conclusion. There is no setting about THE CORE, and the only monster who know the existence of Gaster is Sans. Then Gaster have chosed is fate on purpose. What I said before would be a purpose.

 No matter what, this is my subjective hypothesis. Gaster might be just make bone bro, and let them to go outside right away, just after giving them each personality. Who knows! 

 I love eternal mysticism anyway. Sometimes there’re some things that we’d better not knowing about it. :)
