How the fuck is everyone just moving on with their lives? I can't gather the strength to even get out of bed. I feel more lost and vulnerable than ever. I need you baby.. All I want is for you to come back to me.. I dont understand how to live normally anymore.. How are people planning things for the future already? How is it even possible for everyone to just be okay...?

One month ago today we said goodbye to the most kind-hearted, gentle, compassionate and loving man. I sat by his side and was forced through tears to say my goodbye. Everyday it become more real that the love of my life isn't physically beside me anymore. It absolutely scares the shit out of me that I have to face life's challenges without Grant fighting them with me. 6 months into our relationship Grant wrote me a letter. He started it with "My lovely Hannah." In the letter he wrote about the first time we met, he even remembered exactly what I was wearing. He wrote about how his life right before we started dating "wasn't even comparable to how it is now" were his exact words. How he wouldn't have made it this far without me supporting him. Grant and I changed each other for the better. He made me a much stronger, more confident and a more honest person. Although Grant isn't physically beside me, I still feel his love and strength every day. Yesterday, I took the letter and the Valentine's Day card he spent hours making me last year, and got the tattoo artist to tattoo "My lovely" from the letter and "xo" from the card. It's exactly his handwriting, no changes whatsoever. So everyday for the rest of my life when I'm reading or writing or holding my phone, I'll look down and see a part of Grant. I love you so much Grant. Our love was meant to last a lifetime, you showed me that everyday. Xoxo my love, I'll see you soon 💙💙💙
