Her memories of before are fuzzy. She supposes she had a mother once. There’s a half-formed memory in her mind of her face. She recalls nothing else of her. She gave her up young. Or did she die? She doesn’t remember.

Her father she knows even less of personally. She found out later--an immortal man and a demon bound together in the same body. But she’s never met him.

No other family, she ends up in foster care. But who wants a girl whose eyes seem older than her, who seemed stronger and less fragile than other kids?

They adopted her when she’s five. These years she remembers better. She loved them once.

She was almost eight when the cult of Trigon took her, right as her demonic side began to show. Her adopted mothers searched, but they were led to believe she’d died.

Samara remembers, vaguely, missing them. Screaming. Crying.

That was a long time ago. A lot has changed since then.

The cult raises her to be a protector and a future priest. To protect her sibling at all costs.

Charani isn’t really her sibling, she knows that. But they might as well be, and she treats them as such.

The cult trained her, in combat and in her powers until they became extensions of her. 

Her powers come as easy as breathing, from sheer practice.

The cult never has her as convinced on the idea of ending the world as they do Charani. But she is thoroughly convinced on protecting her. 

Until four years ago, her world didn’t extend much beyond keeping them safe and becoming their priest one day.

Four years ago, that world burst open when heroes came knocking down her walls.

Paragon is strange, and the world outside is stranger. 

Vague memories don’t help navigate this, especially since she is no longer a small child.

Even now, she is trying to figure out this new world.

Personality wise, Samara tends to be honest to the point of offence. She doesn’t often care about hurting people’s feelings.

She’s been called an asshole, but it just brushes off. Why should she care, she figures.
