12年ぶりのカムバックでラグーナビーチを制圧　UVERworld

ライブスタート前、音出しの段階から尋常でない盛り上がりで人気の高さを見せつけていたUVERworld。彼らがTREASURE05Xに出演するのは実に12年ぶり。MARS STAGEのフロントには人が密集し、お客さんの入りは今日一番ではないかと思うほどだった。

メンバーが順にステージに飛び出し、お立ち台に立ってそれぞれアピール。TAKUYA∞（Vo.Prog.）の「UVERworld、始めます！」という一声を皮切りに「Touch off」からスタート。ステージの前方に5人並んでプレイするのは壮観だ。どっしりした重低音と電子音、鮮やかなサックスの音色に加えて、TAKUYA∞のパワフルな歌声が存在感を放つ。そのパフォーマンスには凄まじいものがあり、フィールド一面が腕を上げ、もみくちゃになって楽しむ様に圧倒されっぱなしだった。

「12年ぶりのトレジャー、戻って来ましたUVERworldです。よろしくお願いします！」と挨拶したTAKUYA∞は「今日という日が終わった時、あなたの好きなバンドと、UVERworldのことも思い出してもらわないと、戻って来た意味がねーんだ！」と猛々しく叫び、「PRAYING RUN」へ。“全部やって確かめりゃいいだろう”のフレーズがフィールドにこだまする。「IMPACT」ではステージを降りたTAKUYA∞が客席エリアで歌い、なおも挑発的なプレイでお客さんを焚きつけていた。終始ワンマンライブのような雰囲気の時間、UVERworldが完全にこの場を制圧してしまったように見える。

最後は「短い30分でしたがありがとうございました！UVERworldと出会う機会をまたください。聴かせたい曲がもっともっとあります」とTAKUYA∞。ストレートなメッセージが大合唱を呼んだ「Ø choir」でエモーショナルな光景を生み出し、彼らは去っていった。12年分のキャリアと自信を、蒲郡の地にこれでもかと焼き付けた時間だった。
