i think shy characters are criminally underused in rp. in a way, they are a challenge to rp, since the social nature of writing with others is more difficult when your muse isn’t exactly chatty. but it certainly isn’t impossible to write wonderful characters who are also shy, and i have a few tips to help you out and hopefully encourage you to try a shy muse in the future !
