The first chapter!
1.Into Drakorith's Territory
On the other side of the street, it was groaning in despair, the wind.
Reck vented as he ran through the chaotic blast. His blue electric eyes were like shining orbs. The scent of the rainy forest hovered in the air. Reck looked across the field, there only ran a few rabbits.
Everything seemed so silent even though thunder was raging upon him.
"Why did i ever leave home, my parents must be worried." Reck thought aloud.
The gloomy sound appeared again. He was very anxious and hesitant. Reck's careful movements went back to swift trembling. "My full name is Reckless, so i should be brave.." He was franticly trying to see better at the rain. Then Reck heard a distant voice, it was unwavering but tender.
"Is that..My dad?.." He whispered. His father, Emberwing, was unbeatable. Zenthoryx, his mother could get the mountains tremble. Reck scurried forward darting the way with his eyes.
Finally he caught a long roar beneath the mountains.
"That is obviously Stormfang.." He said.
But it wasn't.
Suddenly something grasped his wing. Reck tried to scuttle but the "thing" that was pulling him was too strong. Few moments later he was behind a tree.
"What are you doing here!" A female's voice whispered.
"I, well actually i was searching for my home.. sorry if.."
"You must go NOW!" She insisted. Reck looked at her shadow..
"But.. i'm lost" He told her. The girl stepped nervously. She had to get the young boy out of Drakorith's territory or he would be in danger.
"Follow me!" She hissed.
Reck decided to just do what she said. Lots of little creatures loomed in the grotto. The girl and Reck jumped quietly over rocks and tree-branches. The roaring in the mountains became louder.
"I guess i have to go now.. Just follow the path and you will get to the river Shinano. Remember, look down at the path.." The girl's voice stayed hovering in the air as she departed from Reck.
"Ok, so, river Shinano.. Here i COME!.. oops.. not that loud Reck." He covered his mouth with his tiny, cute wings.
Reck continued walking forward looking down a bit concerned.. What if he gets caught? What if he loses the path?
"No i wont.. Be calm."
